DAY 59
Update: Monday, 18-Apr-2005 3:54 AM
It looks a bit odd looking at the time. What am I doing at a few minutes to 4 AM? Well, the clock in the Netherlands is at 10 AM and I am still running on it.
Today I got started around 3 AM eastern time.
I'll do my best to wake up at 9 AM Dutch time, while I spend this week on Eastern Time. That'll mean "early to bed".
Remember the old saying? "Early to bed and early to rise, will make a man healthy, wealthy and wise!" I must say that now it's relevant more than ever.
Well, anyway, the week will go on like this, so I must take time and effort to make sure to take a nap during the day. Ah, yes, a Spanish Siesta!
So, what's in the agenda for the week?
I'll have to study the markets this week. No idea what they will do this week. There may be a dip today or someone, somewhere will try to find a silver lining and the market will find a way to climb.
But, I doubt it. The news lately has been 'soft' --not good nor really bad. It seems that the economy has hit a 'soft spot' and will land soon. How bad will things get? I don't know. However, IF things get more negative, the market will go down hard.
I don't see that happening. The growth that may have been as much as five percent annually may have settled down to around the lower or mid-three percent range. Still not bad, for such a large economy, but not as rosy as the predictions have been.
So, I'll wait. The best outcome would be for oil and the market action to go down. IF/when that happens, the LNG options will return nicely and I can move on.
So, that is the market part of my agenda. I'll have to watch it a bit and make the decisions based on that.
All the while, I'll also have to spend sometime revising the Next Super Stock site to reflect the idea of working with "stock breakouts" to show which candidates are going somewhere and find those one that have done nicely, and will have some price corrections.
I have decided to give the site a new lease on life by cutting out a bunch of text and cleaning it out so that it will read easier.
I find all of this rather timely. IF the market makes a good correction in the coming days, then my timing will be impeccable. Usually, after a good correction of 10 to 15 percent, the market will setup for it's next bull run as conditions improve.
We have been in a bull run from Q2 2003 to Q4 2004 and perhaps, the cycle will start again after a comfortable correction.
'Til then, I wait!
After all of this, I'll have to focus on the needs of the Maxsimo Card. The programming modifications need to be tested and major revisions need to be made in the writing.
Apart from that most of my time will be spent reading.
