Time is simply flying! Much of July and August I spent working on getting my business plan going forward down on paper. My problem was that following the failure of maxsimo.com's original plans and expensive programming, my mind was lost. I simply could not focus on what to do and how to get my success growing again.

Simply put, everything that I had worked for fell apart. Although, everything did not fall apart completely. I had some pieces here and there that were working and I had to focus on getting things done.

Let me run down a list of things that I managed to get done, have made new plans for and work on going forward:

P31.COM: This site. It will remain my outlet as I keep planning and building on the original premise of doubling a penny. At this time I am at STEP 11 and hope to reach a few more by the end of the year. Since July 05, I have updated the site with a new 'look and feel' and greatly reduced the page sizes. At one time the page size was nearly 400,000 bits of data and now I have brought it down to less than 40,000 bits. The pages are fast and search engines don't seem to have a problem accessing them and cataloging the content.

Going forward I need to keep updating the content, reviews and promotional efforts for the other sites that I am working on through p31.com.

MAXSiMO.COM: The original idea of the site did not work. When launched on the 4th of July 2005, the payment system was far too complicated for the users and the whole system basically didn't go anywhere.

From the experience I looked around to cut costs. We were using Oracle for the database and jRUN as the application server. I immediately got rid of the software and servers saving more than $2,500.00 per month. Then I parted with the staff --one guy who was constantly late never ended up delivering the final set of work. I had to shut down part of the site in order to launch. The offshore programming taught me a lesson not to pay people *before* the work was done and tested. I was too nice of a guy and I paid the price. The second programmer ended up telling me that this work was a low priority for him and that his studies were more important. The money didn't matter to him. Another guy still wants to work, but I made a decision just to forget about it and do the work on my own.

My conclusion is that there is plenty of support programs for open source computing that I don't need any help to keep building the downsized network that I am working on at this time. In addition, there are programs that are robust enough to run a directory such as maxsimo.com.

I then made the decision to allow only affiliate programs that give a discount to maxsimo.com users to post their listings on the site. From this point, I hope to keep building maxsimo.com to a directory of discount offers from worldwide.

NEXT SuperStock.COM: This is the site that is to be my future as I use it to publish my stock picks. The stocks picks have done well in 2004 and 2005 and I hope to keep picking up winners that yield a 50% to 70% return annually. Using margin I can then establish a return of 100% or more consistently.

Then there are two sites that present information I think is critical to the survival of any business!

The first is business credit building: I created www.businesscreditbuilding.com and I am now in the process of entering data to make it fully worthwhile for any US resident to use the site for building business credit using the resources that I am presenting there.

My plan is to offer a report for around $19.95 to $39.95 or even $49.95 that helps users build their business credit up to $500,000.

I went through the same process in 2003 and 2004 and build very good business credit in a matter of months. I talked about it extensively earlier in the blog. I have put to use the knowledge that I gained in the process and now will use that to keep moderating the site.

Then there is the last site of the network: www.revenuecheck.com --this is the last need that I identified in my work on the Internet. No one really seems to know what business opportunities actually make money on the Internet. I wanted revenuecheck.com to be a place on the Internet where webmasters and 'wanna be' website starters have a place to find out what makes money and what does not.

At the site I will evaluate as many business opportunities as I can and sell a report for around $19.95 to $39.95.

In addition to all of this, I also plan to keep building the mailing lists that are part of three sites. I will use the mailing lists to feature ads that are relevant to each site and allow advertisers to promote their products.

By doing all of this I hope to achieve $200/day in revenue and I hope to do that as early as Mid to end of September.

With all the above to do, it's certainly a *very full plate* and I don't have much time to explore new ideas. I hope to get to a point with the above to hire someone to help my tasks --usually the writing takes up a lot of time and perhaps, I can find someone locally to help me with that. From there I hope to keep building the network adding project by project with staff handling the day to day work items.

There is also one item that I didn't mention. Lot of the work that I have done has problems with the links. Even P31.COM has a lot of broken links that I need to fix.
