DAY #178 -- Launch: T-31 Days!
UPDATE: Friday, 02-Dec-2005 10:28 AM
I made a fundamental change today, in my work, in my life. The change involved ONE WORD. And that is the title of this and all pages at this site.
Those page changes will take some time as I keep updating the site, however, the process has started.
The title used to say "31 STEP Personal, Business and Financial Success Building Plan" and now I have switched that to say "31 STEP Personal, Business and Financial Success Journey" -- The change is JOURNEY.
I would like to share a business secret with our IR/Members and also our business model. Since you are going to depend on our success for your financial and business success, I think this is very important.
So, here is what I will do. I want to intro the BUSINES MODEL and what we are all about in the IR area. I will do that with this note that I wrote a while back --with a lot of modifications.
--------------------- IR/Member Intro Note: Starts with Lincoln quote.
Prepare yourself, the time will come...
- Abraham Lincoln
Maxsimo Network Business Model:
1.> FOR MEMBERS: Our services -Revenue*CHECK, AD*Watcher, Affiliate*MINT, AUTO*Referrals, Maxsimo Discount Card(TM), BiiG.COM Directory and ROBO*banner are there to help you sell more, grow faster at a lower cost in any business that you are working with, anywhere.
For example, with the Maxsimo Discount Card(TM) based on Membership fees you can accept the card at your store --online or walk in. However, no further fees are paid until a product is sold. Even then, the cost to make "a sale" is very low.
2.> FOR our IR's (Independent Representatives): Help our Members and help the Maxsimo Network manage our products. For example, you'll need to help us manage all aspects of the BiiG.COM DIRECTORY! Management rights will be based on the HIGHEST Membership type you have retailed and how much you earn. The more you earn, the more rights you have to manage the directory.
IR SUMMARY: Help us manage and market our applications and help our Members succeed in their own businesses, worldwide. That will be the measure of your own success.
3.> Maxsimo Network and Maxsimo Card Services (Company): Our goal is to develop, market and improve our products and distribute them worldwide with the aide of our IRs.
4.> NEXT FEW ITEMS are ABOUT OUR PHILOSOPHY: Only when resources are warranted and when services are at nearly a stretch will solutions be added. We keep costs in check.
5.> Use the best hardware and software applications. keep making them better.
6.> Use software developed by independent developers that we have a FIRST HAND RELATIONSHIP with. One in which we pay a fair price for the software and development, while the developer provides us with the best support and services. We retain the TRADEMARKS and USER INFORMATION, as well as distribution channels.
7.> CRAM, absolutely cram everything we can to each Membership. Make it worth as much as we can for an annual payment. Our Members will keep coming back, year after year.
8.> Did I mention keeping costs down? It's worth a second mention. Keep the costs down so that Members can afford to use the products and benefit greatly by them.
9.> Make some promises, but deliver more and more to the IR's and Members. Make sure the customers are happy. And they will return to the products day after day, year after year. Respect their privacy and needs. Good products will be the measure of our success.
10.> Constantly work on making it simple. Constantly work on making the products work in a very simple manner. Constantly work on making the products better, and keep working on improving them with IR/Member feedback.
11.> Enjoy Life. Help others succeed. Help Members succeed with their own business. Talk softly. Get the job done.
12.> Reach for excellence, one day at a time.
Welcome to the Maxsimo Network
& Our suite of applications
Maxsimo Network Team.
The above is a final copy of my WELCOME MESSAGE to the new IRs and Members in the back office area. I will now update the entire setup.
SOME MORE THOUGHTS as I GET THIS FRIDAY STATED:
It happened on Tuesday, the 29th of NOV. 2005. Thanks to "G" MIKE my PEER, my GURU who has been kind enough to work with me on this venture, pointed out that he's not getting user notifications.
I cannot stress how important it is for the IR's (distributors, affiliates, etc) to stay "focused" and "engaged" and to hear the success of their growth.
I at one point thought "why inconvenience" these fellows so I will shut down the notification that their organizations are growing. That was a mistake. Silence is deadly. Sure it's a nuisance that there are tons of email in the in box, but I don't think anyone minds when those emails say "New User Joined" or that "User Upgraded". Nope, I don't think anyone minds that.
Anyway, lesson learned.
MORE UPDATES: Well, I thought that was it -- soon after, I learned another lesson from "G" MIKE. I think that was "intensity". From the few times that I have talked, and the countless times I have emailed with "G" Mike, his intensity is something that I have learned from. What's funny is that when I first talked to him he sounded "cool", "calm" and "relaxed" -- a bit like a surfer Dude, waiting for the next wave with a grin on his face. Cool. Collected.
However, once I started working with "G" MIKE, I began to understand why he is very successful (at least I hope he is) and one of the elements in my life that I have kept having to "work on" -- That is INTENSITY. I mentioned this a while back --sometimes I am just too nice and I let things just walk over. I need to "take charge" and make it happen.
I am.
OK, now on to this Friday's thoughts and TO DO LIST. My morning walk took me past the first Christmas Tree sales lot of the season. I will now look forward to going and picking up that perfect Christmas tree with my kids. I think this weekend is perhaps, too soon, but after a long week of work, this is a thought that melts all the "fatigue" away.
NOW to MY TO DO ITEMS: I need to update the user area. I need to update the Member area. I was suppose to do it yesterday, but I was too scared (yes, I'll be frank) to even touch the server. I cannot remember how many times I have had servers go down at the most critical moment. I didn't want that to happen --well to anyone, anytime.
As I have said, there are few things that make grown men cry, and a "server unreachable" event is one of them.
So, today, several updates. That's all. Keep things simple. I hope you have a great weekend. I will be here checking email and updating my thoughts. I enjoy it very much. Hope all is well. Take care, Sam.
Oh, yes. I have officially move further two more steps. I'll talk about it over the weekend - 12 & 13 DONE... Bye! {B>)
UPDATE: Friday, 02-Dec-2005 11:52 AM
That was a quick "bye!". Well, I put this up and then took a quick look and immediately noticed a typo --usually when my fingers cannot keep up with my thoughts. Anyway, fatigue -it's Friday. Hope you're doing better.
I would like to take this opportuntiy to mention a tip: An easy way to proof copy is by reading out loud the test, and try to pick up each word. Then the mistakes surface as what is said may not "sound right". Ok, the tip of the day. I'll use it now. Sam out.
