DAY #186 -- Launch: T-23 Days!

UPDATE: Saturday, 10-Dec-2005 9:49 AM

Yesterday I spoke about the this site and the advertising button that I have placed. I omitted on item on that. That is the fact that I am turning all the links to benefit the Maxsimo Network CO-OP. The idea is to use this site to benefit everyone who is part of the Maxsimo Network.

In the beginning, my original intention was to work as an Affiliate and promote the "penny" IR account at maxsimo.net. Now I want to help everyone via this site. I can do that by simply sending visitors to "www" which evokes the CO-OP system and awards the visitors to the next IR in the setup.

My goal is to see this site get 1,000's of visitors daily. That would be a 20(X) the current visitor rate. I will keep experimenting with ideas, tests and just keep writing with what I do, and I think that will lead to the success.

What I see is that this site becoming the "HOW to START/WHAT to DO" aspect of the Maxsimo Network. Then the USER/MEMBER Area will become how to do it with tools and applications. Lastly, each of the stock sites will be the last part of the link where everyone learns to mature their assets.

Now on to some other thoughts. I read the below article a while back and posted it on this page to share it with you. Ok, time to re-establish my pilots license.

Device stops speeders from inside car

Report: Canada testing device that alerts drivers whenever the exceed speed limits.

December 4, 2005; Posted: 2:54 p.m. EST (1954 GMT)

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) - Canadian auto regulators are testing a system that would enforce speed limits by making it harder to push down the car's gas pedal once the speed limit is passed, according to a newspaper report.

The system being tested by Transport Canada, the Canadian equivalent of the U.S. Department of Transportation, uses a global positioning satellite device installed in the car to monitor the car's speed and position. If the car begins to significantly exceed the speed limit for the road on which it's travelling the system responds by making it harder to depress the gas pedal, according to a story posted on the Toronto Globe and Mail's Website.

The pilot test, using 10 cars driven by volunteers, is believed to be the first in North America, although similar systems have been tested in several European countries, according to the newspaper.

The agency is also testing another system that warns drivers with a voice alarm and a light whenever they start to speed, the newspaper said. Those systems are already on sale, according to the report. The company that makes the alarm device, the Otto Driving Companion, has already sold 400 of the units in Winnipeg alone, the newspaper said.

End of article...

I am not sure when the authorities will understand that their is a director relationship between driver education and accidents --not necessarily with speed. I have driven many times on the German autobahn, at 'ungodly' speeds, and once in a van, only to get "flashed" by a Porsche, BMW or Mercedes Benz or some other exotic vehicle going even faster. Of course, the flashing comes half a kilometer from the rear view mirror, so I've had to keep very close attention every time I have driven on the high-speed lane.

The bottom line is that the German drivers possess a dicipline that I have not seen anywhere. The worst driving I have seen is in Asia --the driving in India, Sri Lanka and the Philippines has to be way there at the bottom. In many of these places when I put the seat belt on, I often have gotten a chuckle from the driver. "Ah we don't need that here" is usually the answer. My point here is that in spite of the driving speeds in German autobahns, their accident and death rates are lower than in the USA per 100,000 accidents. So, it's not necessarily speed that kills, but many other factors including the Germans adhering to the rules. I have never seen a place where the driving rules are followed so well.

Getting back to my discussion about discipline. I cannot say for certain how much dicipline carries a weight with success. I do know that it is a core element in success, perhaps, top 3 or so. The practice of discipline aide focus, which I think is the "top of list" in the list of success elements.

Once again, it's the weekend. Much of this I actually wrote on Friday. I tell you that because one of the changes in my life is that I at time am *ahead* of schedule on items. Sure that are many items that I am behind in. That is part of life. However, to be ahead in the game is something that is new to me. The "engine" is getting fine tuned, and I am pressing the gas pedal just right and moving forward.

That is 'priceless' and I am enjoying every part of it. Now to enjoying the weekend. Sam is off. Carpe Diem and a good weekend.
