DAY #191 -- Launch: T-18 Days!

Not sure how long I can write today, but let me give it a shot. I was a bit disturbed that there are a bunch of broken links on this site. So, I spent a bit of time looking around. Then I found out that there were a lot of files on the server that I needed to delete. I had moved them around 'locally' but I didn't delete them online. That resulted in a lot of errors that "robots" picked up.

I however don't think there are a bunch of code '404' errors resulting from the pages that are up. Anyway, I'll keep checking as I go back and read what I have written. By the way, when I read the old stuff, I don't make any changes. I leave it "RAW" and for a purpose: IF there is a mistake, so be it. Life it not perfect and this is a work in progress.

I think I read a page or two where I was very tired and made spelling mistake after mistake. So be it. That's how things go.

Anyway, yesterday I had Code 404 - Not Found 358 --358 times that was sent to the browser. Today I have over 900, and I believe this is the result of a "spider" that looked around and when things 'timed out' and it displayed the error code. The spider was from the site below: I USED: http://www.dead-links.com/check_links.php for checking the links. It gave me a good report as to what needs to be checked. But, it was also very fast and when a page did not respond in time, it gave it an error. I'll keep checking, and perhaps IF I uncover and correct ONE BAD link PER WEEK, I'll get rid of all the errors soon.

Ok, to other thoughts..

The other topic is what I look forward to with a "New Class of Referral Sites" -- My objective is to create several truly free sites that even our free sign up IR's (at Silver) can use to refer new IRs from around the world.

I'll use http://www.affiliatemint.com as the basis for my discussion. The objective is to give away something real in exchange for new sign ups to the network. In the above case I have designed a site that will "give away" a free Clickbank(R) Mall. This site allows anyone to search the Clickbank(R) product directory that had about 15,000 products the last time I checked it.

By giving away the site there will be referrals to the Maxsimo.NET setup. That is the plan.

Then TWO VERY IMPORTANT IDEAS OCCURED:

1.> FOCUS -at the AffiliateMINT.COM I wanted to list all 33 programs that the system will allow a user to manage -depending on where they are -between GOLD and PARAGON Membership. What I decided to do was just promote 3 programs from the site.

Once again, FOCUS.

So, my plan is to have over ten such sites that keep the "focus" narrow and drill in the idea of the value of the network while signing up referral after referral.

2.> Each site will run independently of the Maxsimo.NET referral system. So, all of the sites will make it possible for people around the world to participate in Internet commerce, and that will keep growing independently of everything that happens at http://www.maxsimo.net or what I have been calling Maxsimo.NET.

So, the company owns a lot of domains. The last time I checked around 80 of them. And I can use around 20 of these very good domain names to present a product or service that referrers IR's to the network.

I think the CO-OP model will be very successful.

Going back to the AffiliateMINT, here is where I see it shining through: First, the free mall will allow anyone signing up at Clickbank(R) to earn commissions when a product is sold via http://www.affiliatemint.com. All this is FREE.

Secondly, I plan to allow the promotion of another classic mostly online network marketing program, and that is Cognigen --what I have linked to via http://www.ld.net/?biigcom, where people can shop for discounted/bundled long distance services to all types of cell phone offers. As a public company, I think Cognigen can greatly enhance the value of the network and the participants within it.

Lastly of course the affiliateMINT will allow everyone to participate and refer IR's to Maxsimo.NET!

These will be the only premier programs that the site will promote. The end result I hope will be a lot of referrals for the CO-OP part of the network and for those who also send traffic directly to the site.

MY LAST THOUGHT for the DAY (here!):

I gave the responsibility of setting up the HELP DESK to a Gentlemen from Australia about 2 weeks ago. He said he needed all kinds of help, so I said 'why don't you do this for the network and I'll see what I can do with regard to the compensation' and that was that. I got a few emails from the guy. Then nothing now for more than a week.

I now have to do everything that needs to be done in this format (HELP DESK) on my own.

I guess I was a bit naive that I thought when this guy said "I'll do this 'n that" I took his word that he'd take care of the issue. He said he'd come up "with a plan" and I'd leave him to do just that.

Well, nothing happened, so, I've got to resolve the issue and do it myself. I don't anticipate that to be a problem.

I'll take care of the HELP DESK matter.

Ok, that is about all the thoughts for the day. I'll be back for a Friday wrap up tomorrow. A lot got done, and I have a lot to do, but I think I am on schedule and I'll keep things moving along this pace for another two and half months. Carpe Diem, Sam.
