DAY # 201 -- Launch: T-08 Days!
UPDATE: Saturday, 24-Dec-2005 10:27 PM
It's Christmas Eve and the Webmaster is stirring. I've got a busy day tomorrow at the in-laws and a few gift unwrapping. Hope I've been good and Santa remembered. I hope.
It's not been easy lately to 'be good'. After getting just about all the work that I planned on getting done before the launch, I had to struggle with one element that I didn't anticipate. That is the software that manages the independent representative program. The server hosting the system failed several times and the company that sold the services refuses to accept responsibility what so ever. Once again a dilemma --do I press the issue and take a solid proactive stance and extract the funds, which I have done once OR should I just shrug it off and move on to the next software?
I'll make a decision this week. I certainly have a lot to work on this week, and I don't want this to become a distraction.
It's Christmas Eve and I ended up writing this: I have removed all the links. The text will be posted at www.maxsimo.org.
The plan is to have an area members see that allows them to donate funds to local community organizations.
1 January 2006
Dear Members,
Please use your donation link in your membership area to select a local or global non-profit or educational organization, project, care-center, etc. to transfer your cash-back funds.
Your donation will be credited monthly to the selected organization or added to an annual gift.
Maxsimo.NET will in turn use our network to publicize and help raise funding for the best of such organizations worldwide. We'll look for innovative, educational, community based organizations that make a difference --regardless of size or location. At times small things can make a great difference.
Everything counts!

ABOUT the MAXSiMO CARD
The Maxsimo Card is a Global Discount Card that lowers the cost of sales for participating merchants, while rewarding members with discounts, specials, offers, cash-back, etc. To create a FREE Maxsimo Card account, go here.
ABOUT Maxsimo.NET
The Maxsimo network is powered by a global network of Independent Representatives building, managing and participating in our success. Join us here.
Maxsimo.ORG is not a non-profit organization, charity or a registered organization. All donated funds are sent directly from a member account to an account of the selected organization. No fees of any kind are charged to any participating charity in the network. This is just an informational page for Maxsimo.NET.
This is one of the most important parts of the network where members are able to donate funds that collect in their account to a worth cause in their community or a larger agency that they wish to fund.
I think it's very important to give back to the very community that we are depending on to build the network. My goal is to be able to work with a lot of local merchants on building the card network. And in following this model, the local merchants will see that the saving that members accumulate also benefit their community.
PROFOUND THOUGHTS after more than 200 DAYS of BLOG UPDATES:
This goes in the
philosophy chapter of the blog and what I mean is a question that I have repeatedly asked over the past year. The question goes back to many observations that I have made while traveling. Observations that I have made watching people from many nations -where I grew up in Southern Illinois, Columbus, Ohio and while living in Washington D.C. and while in the Netherlands.
While watching my own parents. While learning about immigrants in the U.S.A. and those in Europe, and the differences between them.
The question was asked when I saw a picture of Bobby Martin, a senior nose guard at Colonel White High in Dayton, Ohio (USA). You can search who he is and why I mention it.
I asked the question when I talked about two girls that did not have arms --one from a childhood accident and another who was born that way. One of the girls was headed to college and the other I watched as she changed a diaper of her son or daughter.
I have asked the question of myself several times, at times daily, when things are bad.
The question I think is very special and I don't think many people ask it often enough or with enough conviction.
I have decided to make this question the title of the IR QUICK START KIT (which was the old title). And the question is -something that you'll have to dig into and get the manual that I'll make available in January.
Well, sorry, you've got to read the manual. {B>)
The question that I keep referring to can determine the destiny of many, it can determine the career of an athlete. It can determine the grades of a college student. The question can determine the outcome of a relationship between two loved ones.
The question is the basis of a lot of "things" and often when not asked be meaningless and irrelevant to such a degree that it is the basis of failure.
I don't want to keep rambling, but the essence of the question is so important that I often ask it in silence looking in the mirror before a shave.
The question is rather short, but all too profound. When I started this blog, I didn't really ask the question. The results are there to see. I didn't update the blog. At times weeks went by. But now look at what I am doing. There is a rhythm. There is a flow. There is a plan. There is success.
BUT, how did I get there? The answer is the "QUESTION" --the question is the essence of many things, and yet, I don't think many of you ask it often enough.
You will once you read it.

Now I can wish you a Merry Christmas! I've got to play Santa in several hours. Got to go. Carpe Diem, Sam.
