Happy New Year!
My new year took a new meaning after the tsunami devastated the rim of the Indian Ocean.
I've decided to put the donation link on the first page. I'll keep it there for the rest of the year or longer, just as a reminder... Sometime there are silly little things that "get me down" and just one look at what happened is a reminder to me that my problems (as I may call them) pale in comparison to those of the victims.
I also found out that December is not a good time to re-ignite the workload and try to keep up a blog.
I had enough things to do and on top of that I had major problems with a knee. So, after moving, and doing all the 'projects' in the new home, including the task of building a new desk and book case, I 'snapped' my knee. In the end, from Thanksgiving, I had to keep working on the knee to help strengthen it. No skiing this year, but it's about 60% better now.
I hope before spring time I am at 90%. Perhaps a few hundred more KM on the bike and I'll be there.
Now, enough rambling. There's a lot to catch up on.
One of the problems that delayed my thoughts was the product I wanted to create. Since I was going to put the product up on this site, there was "no taking back" what ever I did. I had to be 10X sure that was exactly what I wanted to do, and I'd better make sure that I wanted to do that for HOWEVER MANY YEARS it took to achieve my goal.
Having thought about the situation and what I need to do, after over 4 months, I have come to a solution: First of all I have enough "things to do" on the table. Adding one more will just 'dig me deeper' in a pit. In Bethesda, Maryland (USA) there is a Barns & Noble that has some quotes on the street side. One says "If you are in a hole, stop digging". I need to stop.
Adding more things to my already full plate will only lead to less getting done and eroding my core objectives.
If I look at my time needs, the first and foremost is the research time. I am the editor of NEXT SuperStock and also the founder of the MAXSIMO CARD --the world's first global discount card. I spend about 4 hrs. on investment reading and research daily and the rest on the discount card.
I've decided that the Penny Thirty One project will be my "warm up" project and I'll work on it first thing in the AM about 3-5 days a week. By doing that I can keep a log about my daily to-do list and part of that can be online. So, I'll spend about 1 to 2 hrs. in the AM, depending on what I have to say and other time needs, updating p31.com. I feel comfortable with the setup now and I think (despite the delays and lack of daily blogging) that I am doing well.
My day then looks like this:
-
To work: 8 to 8:30
-
Work on Blog/Site: 'Til 10AM
-
Reading: 'Til Lunch and afternoon to 3PM
-
Before Sleep: Catch up on research and other task for one to two hrs.
-
Also on Saturday and Sunday catch up on reading ahead for the next week. All in all, I end up working 48 to 60 hrs. with most of the time spent on reading.
My product idea for the site:
At first I didn't want to charge anything. Then I wanted to create a product and ran into all the problems of creation, maintenance, distribution, etc.
Then I reversed again and decided to do this: Have product reviews.
I figure after being on the Internet for about 10 years and doing just about everything online, I can point from this site to resources that are valuable to other users. Many of these resources will have "affiliate programs" and I can use the income from the Affiliate Programs to generate the commissions that I need to keep doubling the pennies.
Furthermore, this is something that anyone can do, without too much of a problem. So, I can make a good example of it.
MAKE
BELOW PART of the P31.COM BUILDING PLAN:
My focus will be products, services and links that help Entrepreneurs setup,
build and run a business online. Everything from day my day one on the
'net to now. Everything that has help build me success. All the ideas that
I executed, the software that I have used, and a lot of products and services
that I hope to rest in order to build the projects that I am working on
at this time.
If you have a resource please don't hesitate to send it to my email address that you see at the bottom of this page. Just give the email a subject of "New Resource!" and I'll spend some time evaluating it. One note: I strip all attachments. Do not attach anything to your email. It's just get deleted.
I have a lot more to say... I'll continue these thoughts shortly!

Ok, I am back again for a post note...
Let me review my situation:
-
After collecting funds from around the house, I have gotten thru 5 instances and thru STEP 10.
-
Then I deposited all the funds in a bank account.
-
At that point I was going to add the funds from the sale of a product that I had, which cost me nothing, but I sold for $3995.00. However, as of today, I have not collected the amount. I am now just not counting on the funds getting collected.
-
I must now come up with another method to get to at least STEP 17 with out borrowing funds.
-
My goal is to then move the funds to an investment account and purchase stocks.
-
A contest that I will finish planning this quarter and execute.
-
Lastly, I am also writing over 100 tips that I will feature in these pages.
-
So, all of this is a lot for one person to handle, but I think I can handle it and will do my best to fulfill.
I have also decided on the following:
More later...
