do this week... Yes, some press releases. I
think I have a MIND BLOCK when it comes to
these press releases. That is the only way
I can explain the fact that I have not done
a single one so far.
So
what shall I do?
I
think what I need to do is break down each
press release into several 'elements' and work
on each element and then 'assemble' the final
press release.
So,
how shall I break down each press release?
What
does a press release communicate? I think in
the review area I have some excellent examples
of what to do. See "PRESS RLS." in the 31-STEP
Success Building Center.
So,
I can isolate the needs of the press release
as such:
1. Who?
2. What?
3. Why?
4. Where?
5. When?
I
can then summarize that the "WHO" is about
the organization doing the product --maxsimo
network.
I then need a paragraph that talks about maxsimo.
Now,
if I re-order the above content perhaps, it's
better if I list the setup this way:
What?
Why? Where? When? Who?
The
above is how the press releases are written.
At the end of the PR note is the general statement
that seems to be about the same for all the
releases.
Let
me work on that FIRST: Yes, I'll do the end
first.

members. That is what we are about.

this case the WHAT? is about ROBO*banner. That
is the tool in question and why someone would
want it.

Now
I am going the next page to assemble the entire
press release. But a glance at the time tells
me that it's late too. Part of my personal
success building was to SLEEP EARLY!
I
have been doing that well. It did have a set
back after my last trip. But since then I have
moved to earlier sleep, half-hour by half-hour,
each day or so.
Now
I have to rest. Got a lot done. Great day too,
but some things need to just rest!
