One
item that I have left completely out of the
picture is a good business plan.
The
way I have approached the situation is by saying
"when it comes time to make one, I'll do it".
I
think that time has come now.
One
of the dangers that I run into IF I don't make
one now is that I will keep jumping from one
idea to the next without succeeding at any.
This is a very dangerous and all too real problem
that I know many people face. I get email from
a hand full of network marketing 'folks' that
seem to send me the next latest and greatest
opportunity that they have come accross their
desks lately.
Some
are funny to see, so I keep taking a moment
to read them. Of then the latest and greatest
business opportunity is nothing more than a
cleverly crafted web site that will take a
registration from anyone prior to "pre-launch"
--other than that there is no more substance.
On
the other hand, I hope you have had an opportunity
to view what has been done at maxsimo.com.
This is hardly a registration type of site.
It has many functions, although, the one I
feel is that is the best tool is yet to get
deployed, I still think the effort and logic
behind the solutions can help make all users
some serious money.

Now
back to the idea of a Business Plan --some
thoughts.
First
of all keep it simple. I am not involved in
making microchips or the latest OS software
that is going to outsell Windows. What I am
doing is simply expanding what I think is a
good idea and one that is getting ever increasing
exposure with a plan to capitalize from it.
That's
all.
So,
what are some of the key elements of that plan?
1.
The Success Building Center -a mall that I
hope will attract a lot of customers.
2.
A weekly mailing list with information on how
to build personal, business and financial success.
By-the-way,
I found out that my mailing list subscriber
system was not working. I had simply deleted
an element that was part of the code that made
the list work. That did it. It did not work.
Then the worst part of it is that since the
list subscriber area is on a template and that
template was deployed over 250 times, the end
result was that the subscription area did not
work anywhere! Now that is resolved at least
on some of the pages. Now I have to deploy
it ON ALL THE PAGES by updating the template
and then uploading the pages. Again!
3.
Is the addition of products, services and applications
at the Success Building Center.
4.
Developing a plan to use the PPC (pay-per-click)
advertising systems of search engines to attract
visitors to the mall and site.
5.
Keep making the site and ideas better. Keep
writing. Keep innovating when it comes to advertising
and marketing.
6.
Keep doubling the pennies. Cannot forget what
got me here and what has kept me going for
113 days of blogging!
Ok,
now let me come up with a paragraph that will
express my mission for the P31.COM Success
Building Business Plan:
BUSINESS
PLAN MISSION STATEMENT:
Provide
an informative web site full of resources,
examples and ideas to build personal, business
and financial
success. Live the ideas by researching, implementing
and testing the ideas until they are proven
true or false. Then build on the success one
step at a time until the goals are reached.
BUSINESS
PLAN SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Provide
an information web site that can benefit users
who are here to build their own success plan,
be it, personal, business or financial or ALL.
The web site is to provide the information
regarding tools, services, products, applications,
etc. that help anyone, anywhere build and enjoy
personal, business and financial success.
MY
PLAN for P31.COM SUCCESS:
STEP
ONE: Build the Success Building Center.
STEP
TWO: Build the mailing list.
STEP
THREE: Build
the ideas and test them to keep improving
the information on the site that
will help other build their success.
STEP
FOUR: Keep improving what is presented
and the quality of the information and resources
to help others benefit from their visit to
P31.COM.
SUMMARY: Keep the web site interesting and innovative.
Make sure that everyone who visits for a purpose
will learn something and befit from it. Deliver
the best product you can and all other aspects
will take care and fall into place.
That
is in a "nut shell" my plan to keep building
P31.COm and the revenue.
One
of the interesting aspects of what I am doing
is that I can use the very resources, techniques
and ideas to create or find products to sell
at the Success Building Center. IF/when they
work for me, the product should be able to
help anyone.
I
have already found several such products and
services and plan to keep looking for products
and services that can help:
a.
Build traffic
b. Help sales and marketing
c. streamline advertising
d. Grow a business
At
this time I feel that the above items are very
important. However, my focus also extends to
the list of 31 TOPICS that I have mentioned
on the right hand margin.
These
are topics of interest and fascination. The
rest of the items are pure challenges that
I would like to conquer.
I
think researching these topic and updating
the 31-STEP SUCCESS BUILDING CENTER will be
fun, time consuming and rewarding on an intellectual
basis. I enjoy reading about products and using
them to better the operations. I enjoy putting
my credit cards into the shopping carts online.
I know a lot of people do not want to do that,
but I think shopping online is a fact of life
--a must do in this day and age and I have
now been doing just that for 10 years and had
no problems.
So,
the plan is set. The BUSINESS PLAN is in writing
and will continue to get "revised" and "improved"
for some time before I "set it in stone" and
start operating it.
Once
again, the reason that I wanted to have a plan
was to make sure that I stuck to the operation
with what I felt was the best approach for
success. And by making the plan I will stick
to that approach, until it works.
All
too often once a business get running --especially
an online operation --I think an Entrepreneur
is bombarded from the peripheral left and
right daily with other opportunities and loses
focus. My goal by sticking to the business
plan and writing it down it to STICK to the
PLAN that is in writing. So far I have done
that with the execution of the p31 plan and
rules that I started with and I plan I doing
the same with daily operations of the revenue
generating parts of the site.
Ok,
plan is set. Now it's late and I've got to
go. More details and operational stuff tomorrow.
