End of MONTH SUMMARY for the 31-STEP Success Plan

What a month! I started by catching up with my delay from the last trip. In about a week I caught up with two weeks of blogging my ideas away.

Then I got caught up with the activities of maxsimo.com. I have been frustrated by a programmer that can consistently been late delivering his work.

I finally told him that this was it. I didn't want to work with him anymore. He was told to get the work done and then wrap up what he needed to finish.

Well, the short end of the story is that I am STILL waiting.

What to do in this type of situation?

Well, I made sure that everyday I kept in contact and I demanded that the work get completed.

I have other means of recourse, but that is left to the extreme situations. I am still a nice guy. {B>)

Ok, so what did actually get done?

I wrote some press releases. I wrote several for the first time in my life. Now I have some left for P31.com and that about does the press releases bit.

I had a lot of trouble with the press releases and the trick that resolved my bottle neck was breaking it down to about 5 or 6 parts and working on each part as one section.

I eventually broke it down to a HEADER and FOOTER, which you can see about the 104th day of my blogging or just search a press release in the search box.

In the end a body area calling itself the "WHAT?" area was written and then a "WHY?" area was done. This was attached to "WHERE?" and "WHO?" and that was pretty much the end of the setup for the press release.

So, the format and method to the madness worked. I got it done. Now I have a few more left and I see those getting done next week as well.

What else did I NOT do? I have also planned an article or two, and the way I plan to work on this is by breaking it down by action as well. I'll break it down to several pieces and then assemble the article that I will dispatch to several "article farms" that will then disseminate the content all around the world.

I think using about 5 topics and about 5 versions of each topic, I can come up with about 25 articles. These will then get published in several ezines and other sites that have a lot of traffic. I think I can reasonably get about 1000 people to signup to maxsimo.com.

Just like that it's rather late...

Back again. Great night sleep. Then a kid jumps on my stomach and anther day starts. The problem is that the jump is "knee first" -- thankfully, the sit ups and pushups are able to handle this kid of activity.

I haven't talked about the physical part of life for a while, but I will soon. I've been too busy with writing and testing.

The summary on the articles is that I'll spend about a week developing my articles and then posting them in several sites. I have also started the RSS setup and I'll work with that as well to popularize the articles about the site tools.

Yes, during the month I finally got around to collecting my thoughts on a business plan. I'll keep updating the plan and adding and fine turning the ideas, sections, etc. until I have a final version of the P31-STEP Success Plan site's Business Plan.

The Success Center will hold all the products and services that I test, use and write about. I have already started the process as I started using the Internet, so, this is a line of the best products, services and applications.

All this is suppose to lead to increased revenue to keep the pennies growing, doubling and flourishing!

Will it happen? You'll need to keep visiting. Do I think it will happen? Yes.

Why do I think so? Because the project has taken a life of its own. I'll explain more about this statement as the days, weeks and months go...

Some closing thoughts and observations for the month:

1. The number of programs, tools, applications, etc. that are needed to build success on the Internet are increasing by the day. Remember when all you had to do was setup a web site and then register it with the search engines?

Then the visitors would be there in an ever increasing fashion. Well, those days are obviously gone. However, there is one absolutely essential idea that you must adhere to become successful --content is KING!

I am trying to do that with a remake of the entire site and the lessons that I have learned. Too often I think the site lacks the essential knowledge that is needed to help people become successful. But, I also have to remind my self that there is too much to expect in this short of time.

I stated the blog in September 2004. I had no idea what I was going to do next. The idea was that I would discuss every aspect of my decision making. As it is now, the content and ideas have slowly matured and gotten setup at p31.com. I don't think that I need to expect more than that.

2. The methods of making an income promoting Affiliate programs online are endless. The challenge is to find ones that pay well and have "legs to last a while". I made the necessary sign ups to get the affiliate programs going.

The entire setup at maxsimo.com will also promote affiliate programs.

3. Lastly, it is far easier to strive to earn $25.00 per day and then build upon that than saying I am going to earn $10,000 per months and fail getting to that point. I am sure that as I build the network, the monies will start to come in thru the various programs that I am joining.

It's been a long week and still some planning left. And it's a 3-day holiday weekend. I'll take Monday off just to enjoy the day with family. It has been a very tough several months to make sure that everything was working.

Now I need to sit back and make sure that all of the ideas that I had and were put to use, will work.
