DAY 96
UPDATE: Wednesday, 15-Jun-2005 2:14 PM
As part of my effort to do everthing in the promotion
of the maxsimo.com network I spent some time revising
the banner ads I setup for the site.
The first set of 4 banners were too colorful and not
appropriate for the site.
I thought the banners attracted too much attention
and were too loud for the site. I have now revised
them to just text ads that are displayed via a banner.
I think the results are good. They get just enough
attention, but don't detract from the main message
that I am working on.
I hope to come up with a total of 8 more banners to
add to the site.
My other task today is finish another letter to a
potential large sponsor for the Maxsimo network.
My approach with every project that I have undertaken
is two pronged --I pursue smaller sponsors. In the
case of p31.com I didn't find a way to have small sponsors
until I realized that I could capitalize on the visitors.
Then I proceeded to have google ads, which became
my lower-end sponsor. Now I am still looking for 12
major sponsors, which I hope to have before the end
of 2006.
Now on to the larger project --www.maxsimo.com. The
sellers who utilize the network are the default small
sponsors. Now I am looking for a larger sponsor (partner)
to work with in developing some of the tools.
The first such sponsors that came to mind are cellular
telecom companies. Many of these companies would like
to find partner operations that can build products
and services that their subcribers can use.
The more opportunties the subscribers have to use
their networks the more revenue the telecoms can generate.
To that goal I have several ideas that I want to 'plug
into' maxsimo.com.
I have written the letter over several weeks and now
I want to contact the telecoms and a few other venture
capital funds that sponsor such operations.
The
goal is to fund operations on the much higher end
by working with a sponsor who has the resources and
network already operational. By piggybacking on to
their operation with our tools I can quickly expand
the reach of the maxsimo network.
That
is the idea. And now the plan goes into execution.
That
leaves me with another idea that I need to execute:
That is the network of organic sites that I wanted
to develop.
I
explored the idea in the past day or two. The idea
is to setup a network of sites using the domains
that are part of the maxsimo.com network. For example,
one tool is called ROBO*banner and for that we have
had since 1999 the domain robobanner.com and a few
others including .net. What I want to do is write
several pages of text about the tool, what can be
done with it and how to use it and put it on the
sites that we have. At tht bottom of the site, all
I need to do is link back to maxsimo.com where the
FREE traffic generated from th effort will reward
our sellers.
OK,
let's get started with the text:
is the site text that I'll work on.
THE
BENEFITS of ROBObanner:
Takes
the ad that is inputted and multiplies it over a
network of banners giving viral exposure to the advertiser.
Then
reports back to the advertiser within the ADMIN area
of maxsimo.com with stats of views, usage, etc.
This
is the first generation of robobanner.
The
proposal is out already to expand the robobanner
to all types of banners that are driven by key words/phrases
and become highly targeted.
I'll
show a working ROBO*Banner in more depth on the next
day of my blog.
At
this time I would like to move on
to the other products that are in the ADMIN area
of the Member and Seller at www.maxsimo.com.
The
next product is OMNILEADS and it is a service that
allows the user to craft within the ADMIN area a
form that can collect all types of lead data.
The
system will then store the responses for the user
to view at a later time. And emails a setup of data
as well.
The
product was setup so that user, especially sellers,
could generate leads for what every product, program
or service that they were deploying on the Internet.
I
tested the product and it works well. There are some
minor edits to make in some of the text, but the
rest of is working -especially the technical aspect
of it.
So,
what I have to work on are several pages for the
products and then link back to the www.maxsimo.com
site. All of this is adding up to be a lot of work
lately. But the only way I'll get any of it done
is to keep going at it.
Having
said that I need to move on to the next part of the
setup, where I am analyzing the traffic coming to
this site. Ok, out for now. Sam.
