DAY 99

Wrap up of the week. Another week. Systems down. Projects not finished. Just the endless run of the usual stuff. But what to do? How to make it a positive?

The only way I suppose it to keep plugging away. To keep at it. Sooner or later things start to turn the way I want it.

Well, first the delays. One of my Associates is not getting his tasks done. I have put carrots in front of his face. I have warned against the dreaded consequences of his actions that are jeopardizing everyone's success.

But no progress. Anyway, this Sunday is another deadline. I'll take more drastic actions after that.

For all the activities I have made plans. The advertising plan for www.maxsimo.com is underway, and the first large ad in USA TODAY ran. I also noted that our system took in most of the sign ups well. However, there are some glitches and they need to be addressed very quickly.

What will I do? In the coming days there will be more of the same actions. More writing. More writing of press releases. The seller ADMIN area at www.maxsimo.com has several tools. They are OMNI LEADS, OPT IN MAX, EXIT MAX, ROBO*banner and DISCOUNT OFFER LISTINGS and CASH BACK LISTINGS. All of these items are tools that I will write a press release about and send out to several media depositories that are actually listed in the resources area..

One of the problems that I have had was writing press releases. I have had this on my "TO DO LIST" for weeks and not one has gotten done.

So, I'll need to make sure that I get some of these done. Not sure how, but I must.

Small Things. Well, they went great. I did several small things, and this week they added up to a lot.

The idea is that everyday, not only will I do my normal tasks for the main project www.maxsimo.com, but I will also do a small project on a daily basis.

The objective is that a small project once a day will add up to 250 small projects after a year. And that will end up being one big successful large project.

Big Things.

Well there was one big thing this week. That was that the advertising for www.maxsimo.com got started in a busy way. I aim to continue that until the last week of November, until I am very sure that our organic search engine traffic is going well.

I also think the update to the p31com site was a big deal. I completely updated the template that I use to generate each page. Even though, the center area is typed fresh each day by yours truly, the two sides, top and bottom are all part of a template.

Every time I start a new day, I start with a template that has all but the typing area done.

I then type.

Well, over the week, I updated both sides of the page. First of all, the side with Google ads was moved from the blue area and put in a white area so that the ads blend in better with the rest of the text.

Then I added another sequence of Google's AdSense at the bottom of the right side because I saw that my writing seems to extend that far and I can put another five ads down there. Now I have a total of 10 Adsense ads per page.

Then I updated the search page and moved the search box to the middle of the page so that when someone got the urge to search any topic while they were reading the page, there is the search area.

Lastly, I also updated the ads that display and some of the usage statistics that are generated by the webstat system for this site. If you click here a new page will open up with the visitor information to the site. Perhaps, IF you are from a far off land, you can see your own visits to the site.

I put that up to show my humble beginnings. In September and October of 2004 I had a combined visitor count of 25 souls. I may have accounted for about 5 of those visits as I used to click on the site where ever I went. {B>)

But now I am used to the routine and don't look at as I do from another perspective --getting the objectives that I write about done.

This week I also had a problem with the dates of the blog. I am playing catch up with the dates. I am now about a week behind. When I started the week, I was two weeks behind due to my last trip and the pc going down.

But, instead of "writing off the days" and making an excuse of it, I started out to write twice a day to fill in the blogger. I did. On some days it was three times a day. It's all getting filled in and that is a great way to go and get things done.

Anyway, it's another 'end of day' for me and I'll continue my thoughts during the weekend. Sam out!
