DAY 36 Update: Thursday, 10-Mar-2005 1:40 PM
Just had lunch with a friend - a Cool guy, who's very much caught in the entrepreneurial bug and dreams of following his passion once again. It's good to talk to people with the same dreams as I have... It has a way of energizing and revitalizing the 'soul' and helping me move forward within. He reminded me that its a journey that I am enduring and not necessary a destination.
I whole heartedly agree.
He also had a good saying that I will add to my list:
Remeber that when you are reaching for a rainbow, you have to put up with the rain!
Very true!
Then he said "why didn't you tell me about your blog before?" Well, I have now, but it still is not easy going around and telling everyone that "Webmaster*SAM* at the p31.com blog is 'me ' and that by checking it "you can see what I am doing" as people ask me often what I am up to.
I don't like to involve others in my activities, unless there is some earnest need to help or advance some part of their life. However, most of my friends are doing fine and I don't need to share my daily ideas with them. Anyway, I don't like to meddle and even sharing this seems like I am doing just that. Perhaps.
But, I see the 'blog' as who I am and what I do. It is becoming the essence of my ideas -- a journey. Maybe I shouldn't mind sharing the thoughts...
However, that leads me to why I am sharing these thoughts in the first place? I just end with one conclusion: Its FUN! I have a great time updating this site. I have felt it "calling" when I didn't and then when I do have a good run for a week or so as I am having now, it feels good. It feel good to share my thoughts and ideas and see what works and what does not.
It feels good to build something, and do something that can help others in the future with their own website, online business or financial success plan.
I don't mind if the 31 STEPS take another few years or a decade. I think I have the staying power to sit here on a regular basis and type my thoughts away.
Now back to my work needs: I played around with the p31.com site forum and it's working now. However, there are so many "management steps" and individual settings that I need to master, I am going to wait 'til about the end of March to display a link to the P31 Financial Success Forum.
At one time I metioned the end of March as a time to reveal the forum at the site.
The forum will allow visitors to leave their thoughts, ideas, comments, some insults, etc. and air them my way. I will be the editor and until I approve, the comments will not hit the forum, but then again I am open to criticism and don't mind someone insulting me here and there.
So I plan to let most of the posts just get published on the forum.
Wow, the days almost gone. I managed to read the paper this AM, and then lunch. Now just 3 or so hours left in the day. No wonder I have to update sometimes at night. I cannot believe how fast time flies... when I am having fun!
