CLEARWATER, Fla. - Michael Schiavo was taught early on not to back down.

His father, William, often reminded his boys that when he was diagnosed with polio at age 12, doctors said he would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Six years later, he signed a minor-league contract with the old Philadelphia Athletics of the American League.

“We were raised to never give up,” says Schiavo’s older brother, Scott. “To stick to your guns, and if you believe in something, you just do it.”

I had a bit of another angle to the "Schiavo" story because I now live in the Netherlands and these types of situations are handled much differently, with the wishes of the human being taken into account by the system.

I pointed to the story not because of the developments, but to point out the "determination" of the father of Michael Schiavo, who had basically "willed" his way to success as a child.

The reason I pointed to this article was not to debate the truth, the conclusion or the outcome or the case itself, but to point out the doged determination of the persons involved.

Now I must go. I have a lot of things to finish, Easter weekend guests due, house 'projects' to finish. One of those days. But you know what, these are the types of day that when I look back at the end of the day, I am amazed at what I get done simply by sticking to the plan and "grinding away" at what needs to be done. Later!

I keep thinking about how I can make the site more rewarding, more important or shall I say more of a resource to the new reader. I now think I have just the plan to do that.

My plan is to stick "THE 10 BEST HOW to RESOURCES" for any given subject that I have on the site. This would also help the Google Ad Sense system categorize and deliver ads to the site.

Yes, this is what I'll do! Ok, back later.

Return of the Webmaster... Hi again. Got a lot of house work done before the guests arrive. In the process I got two great ideas. The first was that I need to write down a mission statement that I will use on the first page as part of the site optimization prior to major registrations.

The second was to have a site map that shows the entire site based on topics.

So, while cleaning up and moving some boxes these were the ideas and then I ran down to the office to jot down them on paper.

Let me write down the unrefined mission statement that I will revise and put on the main page:

The site Mission Title will be: The Ultimate Guide to Business and Financial Success Online'

Then the body of the mission statement is:

A practical guide on how to build a successful business online and then translate that to a life-long financial success plan.

This site is full of resources, how to files, articles, knowledge, case studies, etc. to start, build your progress and maintain your success. Regardless of where you are and the circumstances you live in.

Importantly, not only is the 'how to' aspect of the process discussed, there is also an on-going example as the author builds his own 31-STEP Financial Success Plan after imposing strict rules and severe limitations.

The culmination of the effot is not only the goal of reaching the 31ST STEP in the Financial Success Plan, but also to build a well managed, well balanced, sustainable lifestyle and share the entire 31-STEP process with frequent readers and casual visitors. CARPE DIEM! W.S.
