Yet another week! Hope you have a great holiday weekend. Wife and kids are away and now I have some time to get some extra work done. I am sure in two days I'll end up doing what Germans do in a week for work. It will be two very long days!

The reason I put the above URL in place is because tasks for the Maxsimo Card, the worlds' first global discount card keep getting done. At the above location, I'll be able to maintain a site that will talk to the users of the card (Members) and get feedback, run opinion polls and have voting for the next product we'll develop. The site will also cater to sellers of the network who can pose questions and get quick answers. Anyway, all the action is cooking and soon, many of the pieces of the puzzle will come together.
Furthermore, I have decided to have the BETA 1.0 Release of Maxsimo (Maxsimo Beta 1.0) on the first week of May. Then we'll get feed back from members and sellers via the above site and make the system better. The official release of the network will be on July 5th 2005.

Yes, I know it's Easter Sunday. If you are like me, working for yourself, then consider this: My work day is best when I am inspired, as I am today. I took most of Friday off to get my things done around the home and yesterday I didn't do much work wise --just entertained visiting friends. Today however, I am inspired to get a lot done. A day 'inspired' is good as a week that is mundane.
When you have feelings like this, go for it. Never mind what day it is. Unless it's an anniversary day! Never focus on work, on such a day --then everything you work for will not be there when you reach your goals.
Ok, now back to the tasks at hand:
1. Press releases: I've got the 'how to'. I 've got the basic ideas. Now just write them.
2. I've got a lot of thoughts on the 'bread and butter' project that I have worked on for years. The worlds first global discount card.
3. There is stock market data and selections to make.
All of these details that I am working on will be detailed here!
Some phone calls and discussing with Associates I am working with... So, I decided to take a break and ran into the below article. Back to PRESS RELEASES. I am reading some of my notes and this very interesting article that is a good basis for getting any press releases going. Take a look. I am sure it will help.
Another item of note: For the 31-STEP Financial Success Plan I decided to create 3 press releases. A general one. Another for the contest and lastly one for --I forgot. I actually had to look back. Ok, the third was for the JV -joint venture track. A press release with a joint venture track.
Since I was following the same concept I decided to lay the outline for a few other press releases as well...
So, now the press release line up looks like this:
1. General P31.com PRESS RELEASE.
2. Contest P31.com PR.
3. Joint Venture P31.COM PR.
4. NEXT SuperStock General PR.
5. Maxsimo.COM Members PR.
6. Maxsimo.COM Sellers PR.

I got going on the seven press releases and then took a break from it for a while to do the following: META TAGS, which I review at this location. I followed the advise of some of the reviews and did the following STEPS.
It seems that many of the bots that crawl the websites and record the information will catalog only the first few lines. About 250 characters. In my case the first 250 characters did not summarize what I was doing. So, to remedy the situation I did the following.
A. I took the top text that was in text and made it an image.
B. Then i took the images and gave them 'alt' tags with descriptions. Good ones, that reflected what the main idea of the site was about.
Let me back track a bit. When I had a few minutes I went to a Google web site tool that helped me find the best KEY WORDS to list for the site. After a lot of research and testing, I came up with "BUSINESS SUCCESS" and "FINANCIAL SUCCESS" as the main themes for the site. At first I wanted to have one theme. However, in the end I went with two that I will keep as the main focus of the site. I believe that "Business Success" leads to "Financial Success" and for me to focus on one without the other was not accurate.
Some of you may try to "stretch" or "bend" the truth here and add so many things, but I don't recommend that.
Your reader will always put you in your place!
Content is KING! Fool the reader once and you'll be lucky. Fool the reader twice and you'll pay the price. What I mean here is that you may be able to fool the reader with good rankings and get lots of visitors. However, those visitors, when they find out that you don't have what they are looking for, will "drop your site" in a heart beat!
So, not only "YELL LOUD" about what you have, but also "WORK HARD to DELIVER IT!" and you my dear webmaster, entrepreneur or business start up person will be rewarded.
Back to my focus...
Ok, then I have re-arranged all the text and from some text created images to make sure that all the search engine 'bots' reached the text that had my main words.
For example, the MIDDLE SECTION of P31.COM had the following text:

Now the same text is there, but as an IMAGE as you see below:
Furthermore, I created 'alt' tags for the image with the words "31-STEP Business and Financial Success Plan". So, both of the first images are defined as well.
Then I re-arranged the text in the left navigation area and gave them better descriptions.
Since I am using a "TEMPLATE" in Macromedia Dreamweaver, to do all of this, a change in the first page (template page) also changed ALL 145 pages that I have now.
So, this key optimization move also had a profound effect on EVERY SINGLE page that is listed on the site. Now the key words on each page will have a razor sharp strategic outcome, I believe.
Once again, all this was in addition to the re-write and testing and revision of the main paragraph at the middle of the page.
The bots will take the mid section and most likely focus on the first few lines of the text. I will study effects of this change and report back later, of course.

C. Now I have to go to all the pages and then create KEY WORDS for each page. If you would like to read further on this, please view the article that I read to study the process here by Alan Cole. Before I initiate the process I will go thru it one more time and read the article a bit closer.
Here is the reason why I am doing it. For my Google Ad Sense ads that are showing up at right I have created several channels to get the right "content related" ads to display in the right location. As part of that I am also betting Google will do a MUCH BETTER JOB delivering ads when I have KEY WORDS in my meta tags for all the pages.
This sounds like an easy task, but guess what? I am going to make about 650 to 750 pages on the site annually. Already I have to go back and create META TAGS for about 125 pages that are here and live at this time.
Yes, better read the article again and make 100% sure that I am doing all that I have to do correctly. If I have to change things, I have to do it page by page X125! Ouch! Not what I want to be doing for a day or two.
I just typed 125 pages, and checked to find out there are 145 pages. What a start and only 1.5 months of work into P31.COM! [ sound of 'pat on the back' from self... {B>) ] Sound of patting on my back... the character is a WISE GUY with glasses and a big smile!
Also at this point it was a fine time to do a spell check and re-read the main page with a fine tooth comb. I have a new pc with a wireless key board, but I think I need to fine tune such things as the "repeat key rate" as sometime its adding letters where I didn't type such a letter. Anyway, at times it has made me look a bit foolish --a good spell check and a look over should do it. Otherwise, each mistake is repeated 150 or, eventually, a 1,000 times. I already caught two such errors. This is mostly a 'BLOG' -a bit informal, but still I try my best to make each day better and better, and my spelling and error checking should be part of that commitment.
Ok, back to work!
