DAY 46

AM walk and here I am. One clear thought that I wanted to convey. All the tasks that I am doing to make sure that this site is 'seen' by search engines is just that.

I am not going to sit here, day by day, fretting over what is happening, where the site is ranked and what I'll do to improve the situation.

What I'll do is keep improving my focus to build a business success and then translate that into a financial success. This is the summary of the site --a business plan that evolved over several months and the focus of the site.

Having said that I still have a lot of work to do to get the site ready for the major search engines.

In the Ronald Saunders article linked here, the below top five are the focus of my work. IF I can get the aide of the top engines, that represents 94% of the traffic. I assume that would be enough since there are billions and billions of searches done daily. In fact, just the two focus phrases of business success and financial success are search around 50 million times, I think weekly.

Google - 35%
Yahoo - 32%
MSN - 16%
AOL - 9%
Excite - 4%
AskJeeves - 2%

So, without paying anything I have focused on getting natural placement or organic placement as it is referred to on these sites.

To accomplish that I am focusing mainly on the META TAGS and page content. Indeed "CONTENT is KING".

I have already arranged the page layout to be friendly to all the visiting bots. Furthermore, there are a few directories that I will try to get listed on.

I have a list of key words here. I have now further focused by using this list as well:

And this list based on 'Financial Success':

financial success stories
financial success system
financial success formula
financial success coaching

I think the above list has priority over the first list that I made and I'll continue to clarify and build on the above improvement.

Once again, going over 150 pages and making the tags and updating all of them will be a gigantic task. However, waiting another few months, when I have 300 or even 500 pages will make it all the more harder and in this procrastination will just bring the whole idea to a crawl. Better then do it while I can, than later!

Still later... Much of the day went by and I didn't do much. One of those "off days" where things around me had to get organized, but as far as work on the computer, not much got done.

There are those days. Usually about 1 in 10 where I cannot for the life of me get 'to do' tasks done. On top of that I now have a vacation looming and that will add to the mess. But what to do? I'll have to push on. Get some good sleep and try again tomorrow. Perhaps, all this mess is from too many hours at the beginning of the week. I felt great on Sunday and went late into the night. Then early on Monday. Now I am flat, but not out.
