DAY 74
UPDATE: Monday, 09-May-2005 10:41 PM
Today I spent trying to install a program on a server. What a headache. It went on and on and didn't work. I finally installed another program and I am pretty sure that I will write about it, just because the installation was well done -simple and elegant, even with MySQL functionality. I think that is the first time that I have connected such a program to MySql.
So, what was all this excitement: It is the place (community) where all the sellers of Maxsimo.com will gather to ask questions, look over ideas, inspect new tools and services and participate in poles.
The setup is at http://www.maxsimo.org and what you see there will be updated throughout the week.
The past 10 days were tough. My mother visited on top of that and messed up my schedule. I ended up working well into the morning most days to stay caught up.
After she left, I cut back one hour each night, and slept earlier and earlier. That means today I will strive to sleep at 11PM.
Once again, I took about 5 steps to get back to normal schedule.
The STEP PROCESS seems to work well with just about everything. I suppose the message is that anything abrupt is not good. Slow and gentle (nice and easy) is the way to go.
I really have a lot to say. I really have little time. Another strange fact that I can share about my life with you is the following: When I stay up beyond 10:30 PM the likely hood that I will sleep between 1AM and 2AM goes up by several hundred percent. However, if I manage to end around 10:30 and cool down a bit before going to sleep, I have a good 8 hours sleep.
It is said the hours slept before midnight count as 2 hours, so I can notch that as NINE hours. Now, if I could just do that every day.
Having said that I have to call it a day. I toiled endlessly all day getting things to work, and only after dinner did I get to see the results of my toiling. IT WORKS! I said it and stretched out my body.
I will be here again tomorrow, as the momentum is gaining and I feel the motion.
Back tomorrow. Sam.
