Just taking a bit of time to make a plan for this week. With Thanksgiving coming and then holiday shopping, I see things slowing down in the Network Marketing area for the rest of the year.

Then now is the time to setup everything that I want.

The planning for the next setup of ads has been done. I have designed 5 ads to run in Google and Yahoo. That process will start tomorrow -Moday.

Perhaps, one of my best signs of "moving along nicely" is when I am ahead of the game --in this case, the Monday thoughts are getting into the blog on Sunday. I have some between the kids off to sleep and my own rest and watching TV as my wife is preoccupied with, is just not something that interest me. My usual favorites of Discovery, History and National Geographic channel don't seem to have anything of interest as well. The rest of television just does not interest me much.

Anyway, my time is much better spent working on the needs of the Maxsimo Network. And speaking of these needs, here they are for this week:

1. Execute Pay-per-click advertising using the key words that I have researched.

2. Update content areas for REVENUE CHECK for all PLANS of services (these are membership services).

3. Work on articles and advertising creatives.

4. Work on developing a list of "gurus" that I will work with.

5. Work on sales.

Suffice it to say, this is about 50 to 60 hours of work just this week. I need to make sure to get all this done because Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I don't think much sales activity will take place during the last week of this month.

Then begin the Christmas shopping ritual and once again, sales will stay very low and that means for the rest of the year things will be slow. This I think is a great time for me to work on sprucing up and caring for some of the areas that I wanted to improve but I didn't have the time to work on before.

I suppose I shouldn't get overly eager to get a lot of things done as I too have to deal with all the holiday time-crunch type of issues.

So, I too need to once again, focus on what has to be done and put off other things that perhaps don't need to be done immediately.

Let me explore some of the key issues that I have to work with this week:

ITEM #1 is to execute Pay-per-click advertising using the key words that I have researched. This research includes about 2 phrases that should lead to about one or two sales per day. The rest of the sales I will depend on the IR (independent representatives) doing the rest of the sales.

Apart from the 2 key word phrases, I'll work with several dozen "cheap" -less than $0.03 per visitor cost --traffic generated by Yahoo and Google. My objective is to use 2 key word phrases to generate about 50% of the traffic while the other 50% is generated by several dozen key word phrases.

Let me make this example: I use key word phrase one and two to generate 50 visitors per day. Then I use 25 key word phrases to generate 1 or 2 visitors each. That too will lead to 50 to 70 visitors. In total I hope to get enough visitors to satisfy my need to make 2 to 3 sales per day.

The very important question is this:
A) How many visitors does it take to make one sales?
B) How much does getting these visitors take?
C) How many visitors do I have per day?
D) How many sales do I have per day?

I'll need to answer many of these questions during the month and make sure that I keep track of the trends.

Essentially, succeeding in the network marketing arena is very similar to generating great annual return in stocks.

My issue #2 that I need to deal with is updating content areas for REVENUE CHECK for all PLANS of services (these are membership services). I wanted to work on this earlier in the week but I could not because I forgot a setting in the software. After a 1 minute discussion with the programmer I have learned how to setup the content area for the SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM, PROFESSIONAL, ENTERPRISE and PARAGON Membership plans.

My problem was that I didn't want to create an area where the Member had to create a band new username and password to enter their content. I wanted them to use the same signup information to enter the membership content.

This task I accomplished and now the software is setup. I just need to upload the content.

My #3 work on articles and advertising creatives continues. The articles are for the purpose of getting into several mailing lists and article ezines that help affiliates marketing and many other types of webmasters build Internet success.

I have also worked on a plan to expand the use of my Google AdWords account by posting the articles on this site and "funneling" visitors to the pages. This is a long term research project and I'll talk about it in the coming months as I have a larger and larger budget, I hope, {B>) to work with.

Adding traffic generated by the above item and with pay-per-click advertising will result in the mix of traffic and sales that I need. Now I need to also mention that the pay-per-click traffic is combined with traffic generated by organic methods. I hope by the end of November I can answer the following important questions:

A) Visitors per day
B) Free sign ups per day
C) Sales per day
D) Sales per day to the test account

I think with a few hundred visitors during the month I can answer the above questions.

Item #4 is a comment that I worked this weekend on. I have a list a about 100 people already and I want to expand that about 100 to 250 more. I want to have around 20 to 30 people who work on the Internet full-time on our team helping build the operation.

The work on developing a list of "gurus" that I will work with is well on it's way and by mid week I will keep building the list while I keep working on building the list itself.

My final note is perhaps why I am busy doing a lot of "home work": To work on sales.

The bottom line with just about anything that involves any business or professional activity -I'll include doctors, lawyers, dentists, etc. --is that IF you don't (or if someone in the team) focus on sales, then the customers will go somewhere else.

Soon, you'll be out of business. My goal is to get the system going at the start and then hand them off to others who will be helping. However, by doing everything at the beginning I'll understand fully why something is working or not working from the start.

Ok, enough said. I've got to get the job done. Sam out for now.
