DAY #157
UPDATE: Tuesday, 08-Nov-2005 12:02 PM
Busy, busy, busy... I actually love it. I have been here a good part of last night and early today plugging away. I enjoy it because when I look back at life, the best success that I enjoyed the most occurred while I had very little time. I basically had to "go with the flow" and get my work done. And get it done it did. I thrived doing it, and here I am again having to work like that.
Not a problem. So, this short break to put down some notes.
I can now say the Ebay ads for the sign up package I wanted to sell was a DUD! Some traffic was generated by it, but that was basically 'lookers' who were just curiosity seekers who had a lot of time on their hands.
I am looking for serious online webmasters --or those who want to work full time who can work with what I have designed and built.
I don't want people who are going to fill out a form for a free sign up and then do nothing. Although, history tells me that about 90% of the people will just do that.
So, I'll focus on the 10% that do do something, and I'll make sure that what I do *will* work and make them a very good income.
Now speaking of income I have 5 INSTANCES of $10.24 to spend (total of $51.20) on an ad campaign. I am using http://www.maxsimo.net/company >> to build my IR (independent representative) position. What I am going to do is design a page to advertise it and find 6 people to work with.
Since Yahoo and Google are awarding $50.00 in bonus money, I can extend my campaign to $101.20. I think this is accurate. I'll test it and confirm as I'll setup the GOOGLE ad campaign for http://penny.maxsimo.com first.
Well, first a lunch break and I can get going on many of the tasks. I think today will be a very short update as I have a full day and some. The most important task is to update the back end of the membership area for the Maxsimo Network. Then there are about 20 other things, which I am chipping away at 'bit by bit'.
Ok, Sam out.
UPDATE: Tuesday, 08-Nov-2005 5:05 PM
Well, I am back. I took a break working with some code and worked on this page. Basically, I took a "creative ad piece" that I designed for a direct e-mail campaign and adopted it to the page.
I am creating 25 pages with such content and then driving traffic from Google to these pages. Then I will evaluate the cost/benefit ratio. How driving very cheap traffic translates into revenue from Google AdWords, for example.
The bottom line is something like this: IF I can generate a daily stream visitors for about $0.01 (a penny) a visitor and then I can turn around and generate revenue of $0.05 or great from the visitors, then I have a pretty good revenue generator going.
That is the objective. The test is ON. I'll report back with result shortly.
Now, Sam's out -for the day...
