DAY #162
UPDATE: Monday, 14-Nov-2005 10:03 AM
My week just started by checking Google's AdWords advertising that I setup yesterday. The ad that I used were not what I had mentioned, but the ones below:
There were a lot of editorial problems with the ads that I had setup. Google does not allow CAPITAL LETTERS nor "*" or "quotes", etc. So I got rid of it and got the ads to run.
The entire process had taken less than 8 hours to run at this point, and all of that was done using just one ad. I just added the other this AM and will now monitor the "hits" and spending as well as the sales that are generated. Obviously, I don't want to spend any more than what I need to on the ads.
Furthermore, I have yet to get the $50.00 credit that was promised by Google when I used a signup link that advertised such a credit. I have now written to the support department to find out how to get the credit.
So far I am not impressed by how things are advertised, but when it comes to awarding the credit, it takes a lot of "hoop jumping" to get there.
But, I cannot wait for the credit. I have the process working and I'll keep growing the business from there.
With Google's AdWords, I also noticed that all of my key word phrases are not published yet. I have a total of 51 KEY WORD PHRASES that are suppose to generate around 100 visitors per day. My goal is to get 20% of them to signup to the free program and from there have 12% of them or 2 or 3 of these individuals upgrade to a paid membership.
When I can accomplish that, then I am getting a 100% to 200% return on the ad investment. I suppose my next step is to find a place that costs less to advertise or delivers the same quality targeted traffic for the same or lower cost. I think that ePilot is such a place, and I have gotten several ads in these too. However, the cost of ePilot ads at $100.00 per week was something I wanted to hold back on especially since I have to put $500.00 down. I rather wait about 72 hours and then looking at the results of Google's ads, I will duplicate the effort at ePilot's network.
Anyway, by the end of the week, I hope to generate around 500 visitors per day at a cost of about $300 dollars per week. I will continue this pace as it helps our CO-OP ad program. After monitoring the results of the initial test I'll "let loose" the ads to benefit everyone. I think that can be done starting tomorrow.
I will continue these ads until ROBO*banner (http://www.robobanner.com) is ready. Once that is done, I can rely on ROBO*banner's network to generate the targeted traffic that is needed to make this a worldwide success.
Now on to the tasks at hand today: They are to write:
1. A benefits of the Network Article.
2. A benefits of the Products Article.
I will crank these two out in a matter of hours, starting in just a moment after I stretch. I try to stand up every hour and walk a bit, and now I notice that after sitting down at 9AM it's been a while. Time flies when one is having fun and I need to take a break here and then.
When I complete the above tasks I will pass on the materials to two of the Associates that I am working with. Just as a re-cap, these are two of ten individuals that I will be working on a personal basis to build their income checks. One of them has already requested the text so that he can work on search engine positioning.
For the second Associate, I will advise him to visit a list of ARTICLE REPOSITORIES and get the article published. He can take the article that I write and just change the URL at the bottom to the one that gives him credit for the referrals.
The name of the game is quality, targeted traffic. No tire kickers. No people dipping a toe into the system to check it out. Our goal is to get the serious, success oriented IR's that will make this one the best income generating systems every designed.
Ok, having said that I need to get to working on the system and supporting those who are with us. I've got to go. Sam out!
