Another day and I am warming up for my work via the blog! Yesterday was my birthday. Still 30 something and looking forward to the 40's and trying to make sure that I am in good shape -mentally, physically and spiritually. I think when all that is done, one is wealthy.

However, there are still some goals to meet --mainly the one about 31 STEP going from $0.01 to STEP 31! And I am now 1/3 of the way there.

I could technically claim that I have notched another STEP and gotten to STEP 12 with all the sales, but I will not do it. I'll make it tougher by saying I'll only use the commissions earned by the "PENNY" account at maxsimo.net to build the STEPS.

Having said that, I can tell you that I am well on my way to finishing STEP 12 by the end of the month. Hopefully, I can finish STEP 13 by the end of the year! That would be nice. Let me dream a bit now: It would be great to get to STEP 22, 23 or even STEP 24 before the end of 2006.

For a long time I have had a dream vacation in mind. I have always wanted to visit Australia and New Zealand. So, let me make this promise to myself for my next birthday: Getting to STEP 22 would earn me a two week trip and getting to the next step would add a week. AND getting to STEP 24 would earn me a month-long holiday. Of course, my definition of a holiday means that I still check email daily and most of the time update this blog.

Ok, that's enough for my dreaming this AM. Now to get down to the real work. As part of my resurgence following the firing of the programming staff, I have had to work a lot on Linux and MySQL. Now I have MySQL running on Windows and Linux and testing of the database and pages that I develop are just seconds away as the testing is done locally.

I don't have to upload all the files, then open a browser and wait to see what happens. In seconds, the results are 'live' locally.

So, exactly, what am I doing? The below link will give you an example:

My objective is to GIVE AWAY *FREE* one of these sites to everyone joining the network to build sales, sign ups and their own network. There are some scripts on the Internet that setup a free Clickbank Mall. However, those "free" scripts are always at a cost --there is usually advertising built into the program and the programmer earns from that advertising. Nothing is free.

The setup here is different. Each Affiliate*MINT Mall is free and all someone has to do to join it is to signup, and that is also FREE. Then they can enter the ADMIN of the mall and change their own codes so that sales credit will be their's.

Sam: What does that mean? Take this example: The Affiliate*MINT will promote COGNIGEN at http://www.ld.net >> When you click on that link, you'll see a code at the end that identifies my own account. At the Affiliate*MINT, that code can be changed by the mall owner to their own. That is what I mean by "change their own codes so that sales credit will be their's".

But, wait. There's more. The Affiliate*MINT will allow users to change up to 30 such codes. They can change the CLICKBANK and COGNIGEN codes as FREE IR's. The fun starts when they upgrade to GOLD, PLATINUM, PROFESSIONAL, ENTERPRISE and PARAGON. At each step the system allows more and more links to get customized.

ONE LAST BONUS: The bonus is that when you join for free, and change just 2 links from my sign up link, that leaves 28 other links unchanged. Those 28 links carry *my* codes and give credit to me!

AND that process continues through the relationships (which in the programming world) refer to "PARENT -- CHILD" relationships. Since my account is a PARAGON account at PENNY, when someone joins my network, as long as they don't upgrade to the PARAGON position, they "carry" my data as the default data through each parent/child relationship. This is a very powerful concept and I plan to make sure that everyone who understands it, benefits from it.

MY LAST POINT ON THIS: Since the data is saved by the system that I put together, that can then be used at Affiliate*MINT and a host of other places. I plan to extend that process to several other web sites and formats, including AUTO*Referrals.com >> where I can give the site a different "look and feel" but accomplish the same task.

PERHAPS, then the HOLY GRAIL of this process is to allow the IR's to setup their own site on their own domain name and use the data. This means an entirely different process and technology as the demand on servers will be compounded greatly to supply the data. I will look into this, but I don't see the need for this for another year or so, so there is time to think about it and plan.
