DAY #175

Things are moving so fast I need to take a break. Ok, done.

Let me take a deep breath and collect myself and then express the multitude of items that I have finished and items that I have yet to finish.

It seems that I am destined to test, write, test, write, discuss and test and write. Back in high school and college IF someone had said "watch your writing because..." I would have paid more attention. Then again, this blog is the first time since email that I really sat down and wrote.

It's contagious! And I am doing more and more of it. My site update of the blog template tells me that there are 300 pages, as of DAY#175, with of course, 175 being part of the blog. The site has 300 pages. One of my tasks in the coming month's is to look at each page and make sure there are no broken links.

Well, it's a daunting task, but the Dreamweaver program has a very nice utility that I can run and check all the "threads" and then correct the problems. When I first ran that I saw the problem. So, I corrected several of them that were the severe problems. Then I saw the following month that my traffic from search engines increased.

Now I am on to something. So, the obvious thing to do is get rid of all the broken links and then see what happens. I'd bet that the search bots will really like it.

Speaking of searching, I have noted the below search terms that keep popping up in the STATS area. I have linked it on the left side for everyone to see. When I started on September 2004, I had 6 -yes six visitors total. Who'd care? Well, exactly. Nobody. I think 5 of them were accounted by me and someone who perhaps, stumbled upon the site for no particular reason. Anyway, what a month and for the next 3 months I kept thinking "What am I doing here?". But I kept going on, as now I was kind of making a statement that I could do this.

Then I started to tell a few friends about it. I think sometime next year I will change my personal email address to something from this site as well, and that will move some traffic here. B>)

Ok, back to the searching:

(NOTE: Above from several months. Lastly, most of the traffic is from SPELLING MISTAKES! The site P31.COM is NOT one bit search engine friendly as the number of TOPICS that I discuss is HUGE.)

Those are the search terms that are used and frankly result in very few visitors to the site. The most visitors to the site have come via the forum that I setup. There's a link here as well.

I will be convincing some of the PARAGON Members in the Maxsimo Network to start working with a forum of their own and the reason is simple --A forum is the very essence of the Internet. It is what the Internet is all about: Communication and sharing of ideas. So, come up with a good idea and then the deal is done. And a forum will go a long way to building traffic.

Now, what else have I got to do: Well left for today is the REPORT in the WELCOME AREA for SILVER MEMBERS. Then there are several more reports that I am writing, and they all have to deal with making an income on the Internet. Part of my studies and testing have shown great progress with Google, done a certain way and I want to share that with all the Members.

Perhaps, the best part of what I have to say is this: I am left with most of the writing at the company, and I am enjoying it more than ever. I am also doing some of the experimenting and talking things over with leaders who are successfully operating on the Internet. I would call an Internet success is one who can pay the mortgage and take a nice annual vacation using their Internet success. I talk with several such successes because I want to keep abreast of what works, and then test out a lot of it before I tell the readers at revenuecheck.com.

I think when I can tell of two such very lucrative opportunities on a monthly basis, then there is a very 'needed' and 'wanted' product. Interestingly, this is the same approach I took with the stocks --to pinpoint the best stocks to work with. However, after doing that for a good 6 months, I realized that I could not do any better than what the Investors Business Daily was doing. So, I looked at the business plan and closed shop only to revise it a better way.

My goal now is to turn it into a forum and work with two IR's to manage it and two mailing lists that the forums will generate.

I've got to get back to work. There are a lot of thoughts I want to share and I will do so later in the week, as much of my tasks will be done by then! (I hope). ttyl, Sam.

OH YES, one more thought: Tomorrow is DAY 176 and in the SPRIT of 76, I have a very important thought and idea to share with everyone. It will be the last item that will be added to the applications and maxsimo network and I think all the IR's will like it. The site I have in mind addresses the very problem that the Internet is full of --EXCESS. In an automated, search-bot led and difficult to access Internet (search engines mainly) I have come up with a solution. And I aim to release it with the help of the IR's and help them earn more with it. Anyway, I'll talk about that tomorrow.
