Well, just like that another week goes by... When I started my blog, I had no intention to make this a monthly or weekly update. I was sure that I could find the time to talk about events and progress just about on a daily basis.

I think I have been able to talk to myself about it, and wonder about my planning. However, to sit down and actually update the site --well, I haven't done that all too well.

The reason though is not a bad one: It's focus. I have been very focused at my tasks at hand. In that environment, I haven't deviated from what I had to do on any given day.

During the past week I spent most of the week installing and setting up the software to manage http://www.maxsimo.net where I plan to run a referral marketing setup.

Then I ran into a problem. The digital certificate that I installed on the server for the site did not fully operate. It was recognized by the server. The server reported back that "all is well" but when I tested the certificate, it did not work. Then I got another certificate from a digital security authority and that did not work.

Finally, with some aide from the hosting support, it seems to be recognized and working. That process took over 3 days and finally it was resolved!

At this time I think I have another days of setup and then I have to update the shopping cart for maxsimo.net reflecting all the products and services I plan to have under the membership. When that is done, I can start to build the network worldwide.

Looking back I made a list of items that I need to complete to get the "show on the road" and from that list only about 2 items are left. The first that comes to mind is a press release. The second is to execute a mini-marketing plan that I have setup.

Mini-Marketing Plan: The system itself is suppose to bring in the referrals. However, I will need to give it a "good shove" to get things going. I plan to do that a few ways: the first is with an ad in ebay selling several of the first positions. I also plan to offer 7 of the first positions to help build business credit to buyers of a special package at the business credit building site that I created.

Lastly, I plan to contact about 250 people who are heavily involved in network/referral marketing worldwide. I will then work with a handful of these people to get the network fully operational and growing steadily.

Then my mini-marketing plan base is:

- Create ebay ad
- Create BCB ad
- Create email copy/phone copy to contact referral leaders

Other issues of importance: I need to...

- Keep perfecting the sales pages of revenue check.com
- Get the sales pages of the network working
- I need to start evaluating business opportunities and tools and post the results at revenue check.com

Lastly, I have made a decision to end my work at http://www.nextsuperstock.com for the reason that I cannot seem to find a way to "add value" to the stock picking model.

What I am doing at the site is basically already published by the Investors Business Daily (www.investors.com) and there's not much I can add to what they do to create value. Lastly, taking their content and making it my own or even enhacing it is illegal.

So, I have thought about what I am doing there and it has come down to a matter of priority and convenience. It's just too easy for me to access investors.com and get the data that I need. I don't need to sit there and spend countless hours worrying about what someone else was going to do with the enhancement that I made and the stock picks that I published.

Lastly, my method of investing at times means that I don't do anything. Basically, I stay out of the market when my picks get sold due to hitting a "SELL STOP". That has happened in ever incresing frequency since the spring of this year, and I just could not keep picking stocks while on my end I was staying out of the stocks that I picked.

Furthermore, when someone purchased a membership, I they were expecting picks when I in the membership area said something to the effect "at this time there are no picks because market conditions do NOT warrant entry". I don't think a single subscriber would have been thrilled to see something like that.

So, the prudent "thing to do" was to simply pull the plug on the experiment and keep focussing on the others.

I think when I listed my work a while back I came up with this list:

1. www.maxsimo.com --it's going. I'll keep working on it.
2. www.maxsimo.net --it's the focus. (http://www.revenuecheck.com) it's all the same.
3. www.nextsuperstock.com --I am stopping the work.
4. www.nextsuperstock.net --I'll continue to publish the press releases and offer a "selective" member area for free. I will keep updating the site as it does not take too much of my time.

5. Businesscreditbuilding --I plan to keep updating and improving the site.

6. P31.com -- Hey, I'll keep at it! Many more steps to go!!!

Moving #3 out of the way certainly lessons my load and it's really lowers the pressure that I put on myself to keep coming up with winners when I really needed to do was to keep up with my plan by going to investors.com.
