DAY #448: Breaking all the Rules...

For the past two weeks I've broken a lot of my rules because I done everything to meet a deadline and still am not having a good idea when I'll get the problem out of the way.

The issue is over a Windows Server 2003 setup that I have running a representative management program. I cannot get the darn thing online.

So, today I called in some experts.

At this point at cheaper to pay someone $100 per hour to resolve the issues than to work on it, late into the night, as I have done over and over, going in circles for 2 weeks.

I know that with a bit more reading and a few more nights, I can do the job. And I probably will. But the expert can then check my work and I can continue to focus on the tasks at hand.

But I am tired. I was suppose to sleep more, I was suppose to get a general set of things done. I had a plan.

Now this has overtaken me. But, I'll come out ahead.
