That is very important as well. When I talked about it, it is vital to support good engineering. That results in better and better products and creates a cycle that is good for everyone and the environment. In fact, let me look at the shoes like this. Let's say at the purchase time I paid 50% more than a similar type with less quality. So, I paid extra for the quality and the craftsmenship. Then I used it over a period during which (from past experience) I may have used 3 other pairs to get the job done. In the end, considering the TIME and money saved, my next pair of Ecco shoes are actually free. The time is very important in this case, because as a GUY SHOPPER, I am an exact shopper (see footnote below). I don't shop like women. I know what I want, I then go get it. And that's all I get. No impulses. This is heritage from the cave man times, but this is *the* guy's way. So, sometime soon I'll shop and move my current pair on to garden duty.
(Footnote: Guy's shop like this for "STUFF" but when it comes to buying STOCKS --as in Investments, we don't do the same! WHY? I'll explore this question in the coming months.)
Now to another idea that I have had for a while and even is an extension of my shoe experience, in a way...
I have no idea when I first learned the definition for the above word in the headline. I suppose it along there at the same time I learned what triskaidekaphobia meant. The latter is the fear of the #13. Anyway, as I kept writing these updates I have kept thinking about RECIPROCITY and here is why.
One of the cardinal rules that I will prove in my communications here is that there are several vital ideas that lead to this stage and success. My observation is that my actions and those of the readers lead to ONE OUTCOME: Reciprocity.
In my two years and some here I've talked about focus, excellence, momentum, trust, delivery, follow-thru, how you do something --NOT what you do, etc ... I reasoned that these were "CORE" reasons for success. These were core concepts that led to a particular state.
Now I'd like to add another. Reciprocity.
First, I'll use two definitions from the WEB.
FIRST DEFINITION:
RECIPROCITY: A Primary Law, is the state or condition of being reciprocal, a state or relationship in which there is mutual action, influence, giving and taking, correspondence, etc., between two parties or things, in Immanuel Kant’s philosophy, reciprocity is mutual action and reaction. THIRD DEFINITION is MY OWN & MY REALITY:
MY OWN DEFINITION for "reciprocity" is that I am actively pursing a plan. A plan that interests others. I am actively providing a solution. I am providing a mystery. HOW does he do it? I am creating interest. After all everyone can find a penny -- a CENT, regardless of what currency you have.
In return I have expected nothing. Rather Buddhist.
However, guess what happens? Reciprocity takes place. In this case everyone that comes here sees other things that interest them and guess what? About one in ten exists the site thru an ad.
IS THERE a POINT to this CONVERSATION?
Yes, apart from a bit of patience on your part, there is. And that is this point: Now I have to make sure that I follow all the cardinal rules and deliver to my readers, which in turn brings more readers, which in turn helps me deliver to my readers, which in turn brings in MORE readers. Which in turn... well, just a short break to create an image. Be right back...

I think you get the point. I'll keep writing. I'll keep doing. I'll keep researching. I'll keep proving. At each stage, more and more readers are here and more and more readers CLICK! AND I keep writing.
RECIPROCITY.
I don't think any of this is new... This is similar to a YING/YANG type of reasoning from the Japanese. ACTION/REACTION in Physics. But the question is can anyone realize these types of "mind states" or success?
My theory is YES.
So, why don't all of us live in the "happy" state that I am in now? And the answer is: We are afraid to try. Most people fear failure. REMEMBER my notes on the most successful sportsmen and business leaders? They were very failure prone at first. REM: Babe Ruth and Walt Disney? However, once they got into a rhythm and started momentum they were unstoppable.
Here the situation is similar. Based on my progress and reciprocity I have undertaken several more items which I will discuss in the coming days and weeks. I hope you'll learn from it and live by it.
