We'll be working with a UK financial firm that will deliver our online bank cards. This is a very exciting feature, but I cannot reveal all the details until a meeting in London later in November.

The bank card industry has come a long way since the start of the modern Internet. It will be possible to issue "VIRTUAL" bank cards that allow our Members to signup for the card in about a minute, fund it in another few minutes and use the card --all in about 15 minutes.

The problem is obviously fraud. There are many countries that we don't want such technology going to. However, in our case, there is a "CONTROL" in place that will make sure that fraud does not take place. The best control is that these are DEBIT VIRTUAL CARDS with a major band name and our logo.

The next extension of this is to create a "LOCAL PROGRAM" that resides on a MAC, PC or Linux box, and enables the Member to enter the debit card details, and then enables him or her to shop on our network of merchants *without* revealing their debit card information. This would be the ultimate security measure.

All that is in the works, starting with the card itself (a virtual one). I'll of course update those plans here as they happen. Now to my day, and some exciting work as the progress and momentum of all my planning and careful execution start to gather SPEED! Cool stuff. Carpe Diem, Sam.

BTW, a side note -- When I sat here 15 minutes ago, I did not feel motivated. A bit rusty. I suppose my workout yesterday went a bit too long and I didn't sleep as my head hit the pillow. It takes about 2 hours after a good workout to "wind down". Anyway, my point is that after I sat and started typing my thoughts the "world changed" and so did my mood and today's outlook.
