My journey is about more than the steps here, but to reach a balance in my life. Nothing ever worthwhile is easy --but I think good health is vital. Now I am building that into my work.
In all my work I use a lot of proverbs, a lot of sayings --the old words and phrases I feel are more relevant than ever in this ever increasing digital age. Well, here is another set of those proverbs courtesy of the Chinese:
With money you can buy...
- a clock, but not time.
- a house, but not a home.
- a doctor, but not good health.
- a bed, but not sleep.
- a book, but not knowledge.
- a position, but not respect.
- blood, but not life.
- sex, but not love.
Well, the search, the path of excellence is about maintaining as closely as possible the ideals while building a goal. The idea is that if I sit around and do nothing, basically nothing will come out of it. However, if I do the work, in a creative way, following tested and proven plans and formulas, I can reach any goal --written here and those that I will make.
As I have said many times --there's no such 'thing' as failure --only a learning experience here. And in this case, I think there is a very bright sliver lining to what happened. All this week I've been testing the new representative management program and the features that are possible with it are endless and the flexibility is amazing. The old program tied my hands behind my back. The worst part of it was that the developers (Wildfire Network Marketing Software) seem to tighten a noose on me --NOT a good place to be at the start. After the purchase and installation of the program, the red flags started to fly. I made a decision last Monday (Dec. 20th) to pull out of the agreement, even if it costs the $10,000 the company paid for the program.
Then What's Next? That is the main reason I am here, after a week of airport trips, huge meals and not much work. I am here to talk about 50 pages of updates, where I've discussed what it will take to build the LAST 10 STEPS. Here is what I think it will take:
1> Continuation of what works and doing what has taken to build traffic. The main part of this is the continued installation of WORDPRESS Content Management Sites (CMS).
2> Launching the INVESTMENT AREA of the Membership site. I have planned to complete in December. Part of the investment area include monthly small stock picks, medium and large pics. And registration of individuals who want to participate in forthcoming opportunities.
3> Creating two contests --one to build subscribers to SEND MY. INFO (http://www.sendmy.info >>) and the other to build a round of venture capital financing for about 10 businesses worldwide.
4> Keep enhancing the Small Business Memberships for growth. I will be able to complete VERSION 3.0 and 4.0 during the year on all the tools.
On number 4, I have had a set back when I selected the wrong management software back in July. I worked all this week to resolve that and on Monday that program will be installed. I will take another day to completely setup the new program and shopping cart. Then by Wednesday (and before the end of the month) I aim to have the enter representative management part of the network growing.
Overall, the NEXT STEPS involve the building of what has worked and even an escalation and focus of the tasks at hand. It is the 'running' of item 1 to 4 above in a very successful manner.
I'll just do it, and hope to get it all done in the next 500 updates! CARPE DIEM. Sam.
