I think everyone looking for him gave it their best and hoped to see him standing around every corner. I would want the same... to go to CNET and see his next review.

MY PLANS TODAY:

I had planned a rather angry review of WILDFIRE SOFTWARE. They pretty much took $10,000 from the company that I work for and never delivered what they promised on their web site.

I'll take up that cause in a day or two. Carpe Diem, Sam.

Below is an email sent by their sales person... Since the email was to me, I'll publish it. There's just one problem with the below agreement -- it was ALL for the SOFTWARE. I paid for a lot more than that, which I never got. In the end the delays cost me about 5 times what was paid for the software, but that too I cannot talk about. So, to VENT MY FRUSTRATION, I'll just keep talking about it.

Here's a little more of the User's License you agreed to:


"Wildfire warrants for a period of 45 days from the date of shipment that the diskettes or CD are free from physical defects. During this time period, defective diskettes or CD may be returned to Wildfire for replacement.

"Wildfire offers no other warranties either express or implied. Wildfire does not warrant that its software is suitable for any particular purpose. Wildfire does not warrant that the software will perform any particular function that the user may feel is "typical" of the MLM industry. Wildfire does not warrant that the software will operate exactly as the user expected. Purchaser should examine all available software documentation before reaching their own determination that the software is appropriate for the use they intend. A working demo of the software may be available to assist in the evaluation process. Wildfire does not offer any return policy; all sales are final.

"Wildfire believes that the software is free from all material "bugs," but offers no warranty to this effect. Generally, Wildfire will correct software bugs, but reserves the right - in its sole judgment - to determine if a bug is of no material consequence, and need not be corrected, as well as the right to determine the priority for correcting any software bugs it chooses to correct. Purchaser recognizes that virtually all software contains some minor bugs that go uncorrected, including software from industry leaders like Microsoft.

"Under no circumstances can Wildfire be held liable for any consequential or punitive damages with regard to the use of its software or documentation, or because of any actions or lack thereof by Wildfire staff. Wildfire's liability is strictly limited to the price paid for Wildfire products."
