DAY # 524: Finishing Things UPDATE: Over the past 3 months, looking at the oldest item that I need to finish, I have done a lot of writing on reports (9 that need to be uploaded to Maxsimo.ORG) and various other 'odds and ends' that need to be finished. Apart from that I will also write in the coming days about the experience of selling 7 accounts to individuals that I know -- In the end only 5 accounts sold (had 9 when I started), but I am actually happy about that as the more accounts I have the more pressure there is to deliver more profits per account. |

The way I have it now I can focus on making sure that I deliver on the responsibility and then earn the commissions after outstanding returns. In the end it's a good thing to work with fewer people and focusing on delivering the promise. LESS is BETTER: On another decision, I wrote to our lead programmer this AM and mentioned the addition of a mailing list product. The entire shopping card for Maxsimo.NET will have only 6 Memberships and 2 other mailing list products. That's it. The focus is entire on the products. At one point Google had just one product. You can go to their site and search. That was all I used it for. Now they have a hundred products and things have gotten much, much more complicated. My objective is to keep things simple. Keep making things better. At time to gain market share a company will keep putting out more and more products. Our objective is to keep making the products better to help local merchants sell more for less, and customers save. With just two weeks left in the year, this is a lot of writing.
