Lesson to be learned? It's fine to write and make plans but don't plan on getting a "whole lot of things done".

A bit about yesterday:

I spent a good part of Monday updating a press release that is now part of the content for Maxsimo.ORG. The content is here >> as part of STEP 8. When I started the project on the 1st of January, I had no idea what it would take to find the sponsors. So, I created my own.

The obvious choice was to work with Google. I put Google ads to display on pages and I'd earn the revenue for Maxsimo.ORG through them. Well, that was a good idea, but I didn't like the revenue --from a short glance the ads paid about 5 to 10% of what I thought I could earn from a "click".

The solution was to stick "better content" and in this case using the idea from a WHAT WORKS report that I've written in the Maxsimo.NET Membership area. The idea is to write content that targets high-paying ads. In this case I put content that is about BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES and BUSINESS in general. The result is the display of ads that "pay" much better when a visitor to the targeted page click on an ad.

Now those ads are running and you can see the first page here...>> There are now just 8 more pages left, I think and my work for Maxsimo.ORG is done for a few weeks.

NOW to WHAT I WANTED to TALK ABOUT TODAY:

Over several years I have written here, but didn't exactly narrow down a business plan (or business focus) as many changes were made along the way.

Those changes are absolutely necessary as the market demands it. Now that things are more predictable and growing nicely, I'll make the below SUMMARY BUSINESS FOCUS.

SUMMARY BUSINESS FOCUS:

Build a network that provides tools, services and applications for Small Businesses worldwide. Have a "leading tool" that helps small businesses cut costs and sell more while helping consumers save. While doing all of the above, help the local community. Accomplish all the tasks while helping users maintain privacy and save time. Provide great value when Members make purchases through the network.

I'll keep this date in focus as I will return to the above statement for two reasons:

1> First of all, is "What I am doing" within it's frame work?

2> If I am entering something new, does it fit the above ideas?

I will be doing a lot of work to build the company. And the above work does not include all the investment work. But, the core main idea needs to be part of my daily focus.
