Welcome!
Finally some progress to report on KEY WORD LOCK and biig.com...
After many years of working on the ideas, and after many months working on the details, and many weeks working some of the plans, I have some results, which you can see at http://www.biig.com >>
I am now ready to debut the operations and then have them added to our ADMIN area for Members. I plan to introduce the sites that also captures the data of the reserved KEY WORDS on Tuesday (the 14th of February 2006).
LET ME REVIEW SOME of the IDEAS BEHIND the SITES:
First, http://www.keywordlock.com >> : This gives advertisers an opportunity to sponsor one page with their static logo, or ad, or message (using 180 x 150 pixels @the top right) that is linked back to their own URL --where ever that may be. The only conditions is that it cannot link back to a hate site or as I called it 'child crap' (child pornography) site. Other than that the advertiser can link to just about everything. These rules will be also enhanced the IR's who are managing local content and language based content. The company will not be able to "strictly enforce" all the local, regional IR who manage, but we will try to make sure that a certain "openminded" atmosphere that prevails on the Internet will prevail at biig.com.
IR's will need to do the following in the coming days: (be warned!)
1> Pick a few sets of key words or phrases that they may consider managing.
2> Pick a location (State/City) or two that they may consider managing.
Get ready to visit the network on this Tuesday, and enter your selection of KEY WORDS or PHARSES in the MEMBER ADMIN area. Once there you will be able to enter your choice(s). Once you do that, you will be in charge of creating directory categories, approving links, reviewing sites, etc. --fully managing the entire network.
Once you pick the key word(s) that you'll work with here is the next step in the process:
BIIG.COM: the IR managed directory and search engine >>
You will share this monumental tasks with up to 10 other IR's* in each category. NO ONE IR can monopolize one category. *Larger the category, the more IR's will help manage the links within it.
ONCE YOU DO THIS, HERE IS WHAT HAPPENS:
- You are earning from the memberships that are created and upgraded. You're also benefiting from the collective effort of everyone and the traffic that is generated.
- You are earning from the discount offers that are presented as part of Maxsimo.com's Global Discount Card™.
- You are creating traffic to your own online ventures.
- You are aiding in your own success efforts via our CO-OP.
- Lastly, you'll also earn from the partnerships and sales generated by third party ventures created by the network.
- The bottom line is millions of MEMBERS ADVERTISING!
This is just the start,
and you are in the right place!
Just imagine if you had your hands on one of the leading Internet portals and you could control the flow of traffic from a search engine?
What would you do? Better yet, where would you send all that traffic?
Some of the tasks that you'll perform on the portal:
- Approve, edit, move and delete the URL's
- Add the categories
- Translate and manage the languages
- Manage the forums with user questions
- and while you help us run it, you'll share in the success!
There is nothing like building what can be the world's largest portal for:
- The best sites for any given subject or key word/phrase
- Discount offers from worldwide
- Value added services to our Members worldwide
Now, some of you are saying "this is not going to work" -- I beg to differ for several reasons. Take a bit of time to read the report about "Using Google to pay your mortgage" in the GOLD+ Member area. Look at how much advertisers are paying to advertise in Google. Could a lower cost alternative work? You bet.
I am sure you've also seen the "hyped ad areas" like the million dollar home page that made a splash for a few months. What did those advertisers pay in the end? What kind of traffic are they getting now?
Was it worth their costs? Perhaps, for some of the few EARLY ADVERTISERS, but the latter advertisers really paid dearly for their visitors. It was good marketing on the part of the 'kid' who put it together, but the advertisers took a beating.
As for long-term, real traffic producing ventures, biig.com cannot be beat by anything!
This is a serious note for everyone who has been patient and taken the time to look for serious ventures to participate in and are looking for something special that has long-lasting rewards for those who want to make the commitment. Let's do it!
Success & Carpe Diem,
Webmaster*SAM
