DAY # 240

Just like that it's almost the end of the week. Ads are running today and Sunday via email. I'll have word today about the ad runs in the USA's largest circulated paper, USA TODAY. Anyway, the process is in motion, as we quickly need to grow to the 10,000 IR level, which I think is the smallest amount of IRs needed to manage a product like biig.com. As I have said, I think by late spring 06 (May) we should be around that figure.

But the bottom line is that regardless of what type of business advertising is the key to building anything. As I say that I should clarify that I have not done anything to advertise this blog. Then again, it's not intended to be a product. When I have a "product" for sale on the site, I will release an ad campaign. I do plan to have such a product, but not until I reach around 500 days of updates. I think by the end of this year I will be near that amount and then I'll release the product and swing a massive ad campaign around it.

Perhaps, the only item that is troubling me at this point is that I am a bit behind the work. In my blog I have come to a point where I am ahead in my actions and I learned early on that I "got ahead" of what I wanted to do.

At this point I am running to catch up on some programming tasks and writing tasks. I have two open windows on my PC at this time. One being the blog update and the other is the USER MANUAL, which I still don't have a name for. I am about to release it tomorrow but I don't have a name. It's already around 60 pages, but the name part has been the most troubling aspect of "THE MANUAL".

Well, I thought about it and gave it this name:

Member and IR Success Guide

Nothing flashy or profound --just what it is --A SUCCESS GUIDE to our Members and IRs.

Ok, just like that the thorn that poked me from time to time was resolved. I think what bothered me for a long time is that I wanted a catchy name that resonated over and over and just stuck in ones mind. I think that the manual has enough details that will STICK in the minds of a lot of people so at this point the title is fine.

Ok, back to work for today, after some lunch. I'll be back later with a wrap up...

I ended up using most the day to finish as much of the USER MANUAL for the network. It has left me a bit tired, but it's just the last day of the week coming up.

The manual is very important to me because there are several sections that educate IR's regarding the type of businesses that are out there and how to work with only good ones. Since our network helps anyone advertise any business, I thought it was a good idea to help out IRs on what to advertise.

I think in the end the manual will reach around 100 pages. Most of the additional pages will come from the biig.com directory and explaining how to work with the directory settings.
