DAY # 241

I usually try to end each day with a good note. In my 20's I could stay up all night working on a pc and get things done. But 10 years later, it's not that easy. Now I like to get some sleep. However, I still try to end the day on a positive note.

Not today, nor this week. I hope someone else in the "team" will be able to.

The major publication ad did not work.

The first of one solo mailing to a list that I have received for 6 years did not work.

Now I am at point zero with our ad campaign --I need to re-formulate a plan to get the engine moving. Analyzing lot of the traffic coming to Maxsimo.NET showed that a lot of IR's are employing several "traffic generation" systems to deliver "hits" to the site at maxsimo.net.

These types of services don't work. Time and time I have tried them a while back and they don't work. They waste the time of an advertiser. They also tend to waste the time of anyone who's trying to earn money by surfing. I remember the first of these called all advantage a while back. The last I herd of it tens of millions of people had joined it. Even had a major investment house from Japan invest $100 million dollars in it. That was about the last I heard about it. Perhaps, a few souls who started at the beginning got a check or two. I doubt anyone else did.

Of course there is one of these every month, but my problem is when an IR counts on one to deliver traffic and signups. It simply does not work.

Anyway, a lot of things that don't work. I'll just get some sleep. I know that works. Carpe Diem and a good weekend. Sam's out!
