One thing nice about a pregnant wife is that she like to sit in front of the tv and not do much --other than eat. That leaves me free to sit near by and do some planning and reading.

Today I can reflect on something that I have learned from this site and advertising that has been done for Maxsimo.NET.

I took a long time to analyze where the majority of visitors are coming to the network, and the locations show why people are having some success. The places where they send the traffic from are a huge problem and I am going to address that in a report for the member area.

ANOTHER SURPRISING FACT...

Looking over what is working and what is not, I am also very surprised by the number of people who have paid to join the network, but have *never* logged into it. I would equate this to buying Dan Brown's 'Da Vinci Code' a few years back and just leaving it there in the bookshelf. There is one little problem with that --any reader or for that matter anyone who just watches the news would hear either the name or a reference to the book each week. Then the buyer of the book would have to think "Gee I wish I had read that..." Well, some day.

Well, the above paragraph was my revenge to the book that forced me to lose a night's sleep that ended in the 30 hour reading session. Luckily I was on a ski trip and well rested, so it didn't end up a big deal. The kids had day care and I had time to 'get lost'.

Well, I hate to say it folks "Maxsimo.NET will be the same agony". I say it now because I see some day people seeing references to Maxsimo.NET and if they passed up the opportunity, they will greatly miss it. Nothing more to say on it. Although, it always surprises me what people spend their hard-earned money and then do nothing with.

MY PEDOMETER: Nice addition..

In several areas of the blog pages I have taken the time to point out some great products that I wanted to recommend. I have a running list of such products from the kids stroller --it's a Bugaboo from a Dutch company that here >>. Our bugaboo has strolled along for 5 years, and now going to the third kid, and still running strong. I think the company has produced a newer version or two. We have one of the originals from 2000. I've had to replace the front set of wheels, but the rest is strong and working well. Anyway, this area of the blog >> was my goal to introduce the world's best products to people.

The same goes for my shoes --a pair of boots from ECCO(R) >> that I have had for around 5 or 6 years. They were rather expensive, but according to my calculations I have walked over 10,000 miles in them without a problem. Perhaps, the best walk/run was in them in Southern Chile where I conquered the LOS DEL TORRES in less than 10 hours, up and down. That includes almost 2 hours that I was lost!

Now, I am confident that my PEDOmeter will become such a product that I depend on. This week I have walked an average of 5,000 steps daily since I got it on Valentine's Day, and yesterday I took off work a bit early and made an almost 2 hour walk and it counted over 12,000 steps. I am sure that was over 10Km of walking in that time.

I need to go over the product area as I am going to take many of the products and services that I have gotten to trust over the years and write about them.

I am mentioning this for several reasons. The first of course is my pedometer --I don't know the brand but I'll mention it after I have used it for a while and it's proven itself. Anyway, my second point of mentioning this is to "call attention to the area >>" where I am talking about the products.

LAST and MOST IMPORTANT REASON:

I am going to contact each of the companies that I talk about and try to work on a deal where the company will accept OR offer a SPECIAL MANUFACTURES DISCOUNT to the Maxsimo Card users. All the contact letter and the methods I use to get the attention of the companies will be featured in the marketing kit for our IR's as I encourage them to also contact companies that produce fantastic products to accept the Maxsimo Card and offer discounts and other incentive thru it.

For example, a manufacture could offer a "Cash Back" or "Manufacturers Rebate" type of discount. In this case our IR's who "bring the client" would earn from each transaction and so would the referral IR who brings the Member to our network. So, our goal would be to have as many of such offers so that from each --the manufactures end and from the members end --our IR is getting paid. The benefit for the manufacture is that we can help them sell more for less while our member is saving money.

Ok, now having said this, I aim to have the Maxsimo Card database setup this week, and hope to intro the ADMIN part of it next week. I hope that all of this activity and reports will get a lot more of the IR taking this very seriously.

CLOSING THOUGHT...

I read a statement last week that said "Free to get in, then free to get out" was the statement that inferred that people who don't invest a dime (USD $0.10 to Int. readers) to join a program turn around and get out just as quickly. This was the justification for charging $575.00 for the program. In my case, it would not make me feel good if I helped someone pay $600.00 for something that they didn't use afterwards. I would not feel good. So, I don't mind someone starting out free and then building their dreams. It would help me feel much better if someone walked up to me one day and tell's me about their story of starting out without any kind of investment and then building it step by step to their life-long financial success. Anyway, that story sounds a lot better, so I 'll keep moving along with my original plan.

I do have some other marketing ideas, now that I think about it, but again, I'll not "abuse the system" while getting the job done. I suppose in the end the question I ask myself is "Have I done *everything* I can do to help our IRs success?" --At the end of the day I hope to, and work very had to, say "YES". That makes me very happy. OK, it's been a great day. Got to go! Carpe Diem, Sam.
