DAY # 268 : Making Plans is Good, but the Execution and Delivery is Priceless! UPDATE: The past week must have been one of the busiest of all time. I wanted to make a major update of the network, and I wanted to focus on sales. The update had to come first. I think the first set up had been done to just get started, but now it was time to improve on that start and put forth the second generation. Many of you may have wondered about my endless discussions, after which, if I actually get some thing done. You bet. That's what all this is all about. I must say that just typing away has had some profound results and perhaps, the best of which has been that I have had a platform to "think out loud" about my ideas, my mistakes, my learning experience, and even my frustrations. All this has been a great 'vent' that does not talk back. Well, perhaps, sometime I'll install a 'talk back' to the webmaster feature. Sometime. I think I have done enough upgrades to the site in the past few weeks. I think that after about 18 months of updates |

I am now settled with the format of the site. While there are lots and lots of pages that need to updated on a regular basis with research, they will have to wait until Maxsimo.NET is flowing along nicely. I don't want to get into a situation where I am filling in my blog on a regular basis, while I neglect what is basically my life's' work. AFTER 5 MONTHS TRAFFIC TAKES a STEP In all my work, I have stresses that, as in life's journey, in the building of traffic, things don't happen overnight. Well, they don't. In fact, it crawls along like a snake. However, the light at the end of the tunnel was bright at the start from the position that I had taken, and month by month, the light at the end of the tunnel has gotten brighter and brighter. Well, just this month, it got bright by a few candles when I hit an average of 70 visitors per day --man and machine, I should say --for the first time. It took 18 months to get here, but once here I can say that "here" is very steady and will continue the trend. As I say in the stock market trading, "your trend is your friend" and certainly in this case I see that very well. So, what next? Well, one of the ideas that I have had in the past was to create a product and sell it from the site. I have thought about that for a long time and I have one such idea. The idea is to create a video with graphics and my voice to explain a program that I have recommended. Then my goal is to drive traffic to the page and sell the product. By doing that I think I can do the following: 1> The cost of advertising will be covered by the sales of the product. 2> The gains made to the mailing list and other Maxsimo.NET will be the longer term "icing on the cake"! 3> I can start out with basic online ads, and then expand to several ad networks. The goal is to keep driving a new group of "business opportunity" seekers to the site and get a handful of them to work with the network. 4> All types of exposure is worth it. And the benefits to the CO-OP program are well worth it as well. I think in all this my primary goal is to get exposure, while keeping costs down --way, way down. And with the execution of a plan with a decent convention rate, I can accomplish the task. NOW ON TO SOME PREDICTIONS Just a moment ago I talked about traffic, and I wanted to get back to that issue --after all that is the "coup d'état" --when that juggernaut is figured out, one can say by to all the problems. But, is it a problem? I contend not. My argument all along has been that traffic does not arrive at the door step magically. Well, there are instances where the masses find one, but that is the one in a million where the "buzz" builds and then all of a sudden everyone is at the doorstep. However, chasing after that type of success is just mad. It would like trying to double ones investments in the stock market for the next 10 years, 100% each year. One might do it for a year or two, but it's just a matter of time that the market will 'bite' back and put the Investor right at the start. So, how is the traffic built? Just doing what I love, day after day, and slowly telling everyone about it. Of course, as I had said a while back, I don't think anyone in the world will care that I cleaned the house and collected about $25.00 dollars in change to make it the first 10 STEPS, but I think once the discussion here drifts to the stock market and the system that I have used for almost 20 years to get great results, that "need to know" will change. Then the "buzz" will take a step up. The curiosity mill will be in full swing to see how it's done. Of course, by then no one has weeks of time to read about 500 pages of text, so they will look into getting a short report about "how it was done" and that will build a mailing list. Step by step. Item by item. I look forward to several of the visitor and sales counters screaming as the success benefit the CO-OP success building of all the IRs at Maxsimo.NET. I look forward to it!
