RULE NUMBER TWO >> Listings in the biig.com directory and search engine are approved based on the merit of each listing. The approval process cannot be compromised by personal beliefs at the detriment of the organization or worldwide network of IRs. Make sure that the category you are going to add a listing to is a "FINAL" category.
For example, DO NOT do this: HOME >> CARS >> My Auto Club in Columbus, Ohio.
The better way to do it is like this: HOME >> UNITED STATES >> OHIO >> COLUMBUS -- Then add the following categories:: LEISURE, HOBBIES & SPORTS >> AUTOMOTIVE >> CLUBS :: Then list your "Club" under it.
The reason for doing this is two fold: First of all the information in the directory is organized. The second is that you are creating places for OTHER MEMBERS to list their own listings. That earns you money!
So, make sure to list items properly. For heavens' sake, do NOT pile up all of your listings under one category! You might get fired. {B>(
THREE> Member listings have priority, but cannot be guaranteed to be listed, as the quality of each listing is accounted for by the IR.
This is a problem that will get addressed time after time. We are going to give priority for the best 20 listings, using an ADMIN formula. However, this will anger the Members who have paid the membership fee and are wondering why their listing does not get priority. It may not if the member's site is NOT the best in that category.
There's not much that can be done about it other than the member making their site the best and then re-evaluating their listing by an IR.
Lastly, perhaps, the member can make a better offer to our users, views, etc. By doing that they also get listed better when someone does a "savings related" search.
FOUR> IRs must adhere to the sprit of the network --that is to help advance the site/network to benefit worldwide customers, members and IR's. Please don't try to benefit greatly personally, at the expense of the entire "team" -- There will be plenty of room for your own gains.
Consider this:
-
By my estimates it will take 50,000 to 70,000 IRs to manage biig.com.
- There will eventually be between 750,000 and 900,000 categories listing over 25,000,000 sites, links, blogs, etc.
The management of the system will require a very advanced "rights management" system that allows you too to make many management decisions, just like the ones that I am making now. That will all take time. At this time is to focus on building your network and retailing the product to new members.
SOME of the BENEFITS to CONSIDER:
First of ALL the obvious -- Traffic. Biig.com will be establishing partnerships with all types of companies that are listed in the directory, generating traffic.
- Listings that you earn from
- Maxsimo.NET Membership sales
You are 'expressing' the power of the entire network to generate commissions. Lastly, biig.com and system that are part of it are very unique in that they get more and more powerful the more they are used.
Please also note the following:
SHOPPING is a major category in just about every part of the "Directory Tree".
Also note that many parts of the directory have area for "MEDIA" --that is a very good reason for this: As part of our growth and expansion often we will work with the current "media" to establish our growth.
Lastly, on this part, note that IRs will also manage the DISCOUNT OFFERS made at maxsimo.com, which are searchable from biig.com. These offers are what will drive the worldwide discount card. When someone searches the maxsimo.com directory they will also be looking at the biig.com "directory paths" which show by location, and language the discounts that a member can get around their home or corner of the world!
ALL THESE DISCUSSIONS NEED THEIR OWN FORUM:
My personal blog is not a good place for all the discussions. I'll setup a /forum/ directory at biig.com to feature a forum where the IRs can discuss all aspects of biig.com and it's uses.
Yes, more work to do. I'll have to do that now. Sam out. Carpe Diem!
