DAY # 277 : Planning for the Coming Days - Finishing the Global Discount Card™, the Maxsimo Card™ UPDATE: Once again, a much shorter weekend than I would have liked. Furthermore, I am not in a good mood --it seems that spring is in the air and the birds outside the bedroom had to sing all night. Wonder how long it'll take? Staying up most of the night I kept thinking about a site that is on our network that I have not put to good use. The site is http://www.autoreferrals.com >> and my intention is to deploy a simple, easy to use and understand, one-page site that helps everyone sponsor new IRs with ease. One of the ideas that I have is to use audio and perhaps some FLASH images to convey the message. I want the viewer to know in less than a few seconds WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT! Looking at my TO DO LIST this week: 1> Update the member area with the new WHAT WORKS Manual. At this time the Member area is full of clutter. I hope that by organizing it and replacing the pages that are there with one downloadable manual the clutter will clear up. |

I hope to make the 100-page manual download in chapter by chapter sections. This will allow me to easily updates chapters from time to time without a problem. At the very end I also plan to have the entire PDF available for download, but that will be updated only when there is a major revision done. 2> I have to complete and test the Maxsimo.com Merchant signup form. I also need to revise the Member signup form as well. Then all the materials need to go to programming. 3> I want to send out two newsletters this week, with the first one going out tomorrow after the manual is uploaded. Then I want to follow up by sending another newsletter for the weekend. It is vital to send one newsletter close to the weekend as just about everyone does some work on the weekend in their home-based business. And in the past most of the sales took place over the weekends. 4> Lastly, I want to explore the auto referrals idea with some testing. I'll make a demo audio clip and then setup a Google Adwords account to drive traffic to the page. Then I can measure the cost/benefit of using the new system. The bottom line is how much does it cost to setup a referral and what percentage of those referrals will upgrade their account. In the past as many as 20% of the free signup have upgraded. But, I would like to see about 10% upgrade on a sustainable basis. With 1 out of 10 upgrading the business model is fantastic! The blue print for autoreferrals.com is:
Last week when I setup my TO DO List I had four items and just about 3 of them were done by Friday. The Manual, which is a "never ending story" still has some minor work to do, but at one point I have to call it "done" for now and publish it. Anyway, this week, the list is just as full, but I think by Thursday I can have all the items operational. Ok, back to work! Carpe Diem, Sam out.
