This of course gave the customers the buying power, and it gave merchants who accepted the major credit cards more customers with more buying power. The card accepting merchants soon found out that credit card carrying customers often spent more. As the credit card evolved more and more benefits were there to merchants as the customer spent more. Additionally, catalog sales and in general mail order sales also took off.
Customers who used credit cards found out, more so with the passing of several "customer protection laws" that the merchants valued their patronage. However, as the competition grew and everyone started to accept credit cards all these "customer advantages" disappeared. Now there is really no advantage shopping with a credit card other than it's convenient --no hassle carrying cash.
In today's environment debit cards are getting even more popular than credit cards. With consumers looking to save money every where they spend, there is a niche open to a Global Discount Card™ such as the Maxsimo Card™.
MANY ATTEMPTS to CREATE ONE, the WRONG WAY:
There have been several "discount cards" but the problem is that no one has worked on one from the 'ground up' --all the efforts tend to take existing discount packages and "re-package" them for selling to a market or a membership group. Often people just searching the Internet for a few minutes can find a good "deal".

Additionally, there will be two key tags, along with directions to contact an owner of the key if the keys are "lost and found".
Our goal is to create a card that spans the world and does the following for the Members:
1> First of all, it's FREE. Even the hard plastic card that is mailed to Members is done free of charge, when the member actively has used their account. Additionally, the Members get real discounts from merchants worldwide.
2> The Merchant accepting the card has to pay for the Membership, but that also entitles the merchant to receive all the benefits online.
REMEMBER: Most of the first phase of the merchants will be online sellers.
3> Finally, the benefit to the Representatives of the Maxsimo Card™ is that they earn from a FREE product that has worldwide acceptance and usage. Not only do our reps earn when the Member is online shopping, they also earn when the Member is shopping locally and while traveling. Our representatives are earning 24/7/365 regardless of where the Member resides and 'on or off line'.
In a marketing environment, this is a very powerful combination of product and delivery. However, what I had to do was to be careful not to get caught up in the "schemes" and "questionable practices" that companies do to "get large commissions" earned very quickly. There are often cases where a company can "front load" on representatives by forcing them (or 'talking them') into buying a lot of product up-front. I don't want to do that. Some companies have marketing schemes that force mass recruiting. I certainly don't want to do that.
So, the question begs, WHY did I go this route to build Maxsimo.NET? There are two primary reasons:
Firstly, the product has to grow from basically one merchant today to millions over time. The best way to do this is with a sales force.
Secondly, the challenge is to find about 50,000 Representatives who can work with the company and build their success. IF I proceed to go one by one and day by day finding these folks around the world I'll run out of time and funds quickly. The best way to find them is by "word of mouth" and reward those who do the work.
