in the position to build, update and maintain such a network of sites. I also think that there is a "dirty little secret" that is never mentioned in any of this: The cost of business. There are ways to overcome this with niche, locally targeted and highly focused sites, which I have talked about extensively. However, the "gurus" are not mentioning a lot of other details as well.

The cost of business is vital to any type of business plan: At the end of the month we need to take what we generate in revenue, and deduct the "costs" associated with generating that revenue and what is left is profit. I don't think with many of the Internet business models we ever get the "true cost of business" from the very moguls that are selling the packages and various "how to" products.

My research and testing has been focused on one thing: What works? Believe it or not "what works" is mentioned all around --in the media, online and in the real world all the time. Yet we are quick to dismiss it because we don't believe it. So, you say "cut to the chase" and tell me "what works?". Well I am now...

WHAT WORKS ONLINE, IN THE REAL WORLD:

What works in the real world and online, now and into the very future (with certain criteria met) is virally duplicating business models that share the profit generated by the company with a field of Affiliates. This has worked in the past, it works now and it will work well into the future.

NOW I'LL TELL YOU WHAT VITAL CRITERIA NEEDS to be MET :

A> Ease of Marketing: As I started out this conversation with the title "with little traffic" says it all. Most of us cannot and do not have the time to search engine optimize, keep up with all the marketing strategies, update the sites often, research, build links, etc., etc. We have a little to live and family to enjoy. It seems that once we figure out how to get one thing done, there is another Internet marketing strategy on the horizon that we have to learn.

Does it end? No. How do I know? I have been here full-time since the first banner went up. I have been here when the first first voice went up on a site. I have been here when the first video went up. The first RSS feed... Folks, all this will keep going and going. To build the success, especially if you have not made thousands of dollars every month at this point, is a steeper and steeper climb by the day. The marketing knowledge that you need to know is endless.

B> Commissions: Once again, after getting the marketing done and then looking at the results, the results are not often encouraging. As I said, if you have at least hundreds of thousands of visitors to a network, that is fine, but if you have just hundreds of visitors a month, then you're out of luck. You'll spend about a hundred hours a month working on a site only to earn less than $100 dollars doing it. Earn less that $1 *per hour* is not what any of this is all about.

In order to overcome these problems there are some basic principles that you need to follow from the virally duplicating business model to the network of customers world wide. WHen you follow these time-proven concepts you'll experience everything from exponential growth in customers and commissions.

C> Future Growth and Expansion: I don't think many of the Representatives who are joining our organization or for that matter many of the other "business opportunities" that I see online ever consider "the true potential" of the biz opp that they join. The market potential of the product is EVERYTHING. It is no accident that Maxsimo.NET started out by featuring an advertising network. Powerful stuff that you need to use to building your real-world success.
