Today I'll discuss BLOG UPDATE CLIENTS, which are usually free programs that run on Windows, Linux or MacOS and enable you to easily update your blog type site from anywhere with a 'net connection. What's even more cool is that from one application you can update dozens of blogs, as I have setup to do.

I want to now emphasice, why I have resorted to using blog or CMS (content management system) to work with my updates.

Introduction of BLOG DESK type of SOFTWARE

The usual way to update a CMS is by loging into it via the admin and then proceeding to update with text that you have or to use the update interface and type away... This is rather combursome, especially if you have more than one blog.

NOTE: I use "blog" to describe the CMS software, but it's much more than that. It can look like just another website OR as a blog --you can learn all about such programs at http://codex.wordpress.org/Weblog_Client >>

Using this type of software you can set all the WORD PRESS or for that matter several other CMS paramaers and then just forcus on your updates. The program will retain all the update info. Then you can use the program to write updates, even off line, and when ready and connected "press update".
