RUNDOWN of IMPORTANT ITEMS in WORDPRESS:

First of all let me point you to an important link. Note the link to the blog at maxsimo.org. It's at the bottom left. This link goes to the WORPRESS blog, content area or as I have called it --The Directory.

The objective of this link is to give it a prominent location on the first page of maxsimo.org to another location on the site with content. By doing this, the 'robots' will follow it and document the "new" part of the site on a regular basis. Of course, that part of the site is the WORD PRESS setup, and in this case full of the press releases, articles and full page ads from our members, such as you!

Now take a look at the actual blog setup (above link) and note some of the things I have done.

1> In the top area there is a return link to the main site.

2> On the right side there are links to several of the other sites in the network.

3> At the right there are also CATEGORIES. In this setup, these are "GENERAL BUSINESS" categories. I am focusing on 5 main themes in my writing, and this is one of them. There are also SUB-CATEGORIES, but those will not appear until there is content published to the site.

4> Lastly, click on one of the CATEGORIES and you'll see an article or two. Then note the URL. See how it is highly optimized so that search engines will understand the URL and the content behind it.

5> Well, one more item. Furthermore, when the articles or what ever content is published the system will "ping" and inform an entire ARMY of "agents" that the site was updated and to "come and take a look"!

Well, take a look for yourself. You can see it all at the setup. First go to http://www.maxsimo.org. Then click on the BLOG link at the bottom LEFT.
