DAY # 396 : WHY DO SO MANY JOIN AFFILIATE PROGRAMS?

Today I had a great day. It started with a two- hour workout that equaled my "workout goal" according to the training system that keeps track of the workout.

After that I spent most of the time with my youngest son until he fell a sleep...

Then I started all my tasks --which is a never ending "To Do" list that seems to get longer as I get things done. I think this is a typical situation faced by any home owner.

While working on things I remember something that I observed a while ago...

Why do most people with web site join Affiliate Programs? Often it is just to buy the products sold by a company with their own account.

My guesstimate is that around 80% of those who join affiliate programs are simply doing so to purchase their own products and services. They may put some of the promotional material on their web site(s) but without any significant traffic nothing is really earned.

My thought here is that "why not pass on the savings to buyers" instead of having to join affiliate programs just to "get a rebate" or "getting money back" while shopping?

That is exactly the way the Maxsimo Card is setup -- to avoid all the messy affiliate program work and just get the savings.
