DAY # 419 : Doing a bit of Catch Up

Well today is a day off with the Labor Day holiday, but I've got enough things to catch up on so I am here. I woke up to the news that Mr. Steve Irwin (The Crockadile Hunter from AU) was killed. Watching his antics on Discovery Channel I've had to explain to my son not to get close to animals like he does. Unfortunately, now I've got to mention what has happened. I hope his kids will carry on the legacy.

This is from a farewell speech by Andre Agasi at the US OPEN, 3 SEPTEMBER 2006, New York, NY, USA:

"The scoreboard said I lost today, but what the scoreboard doesn't say is what it is I've found," Agassi said to his fans. "Over the last 21 years, I've found loyalty. You have pulled for me on the court and also in life. I have found inspiration. You have willed me to succeed sometimes even in my lowest moments."

The reason I mentioned this is to ask 'What will be your "inspiration" '? What will be your "fans" that pull you along? What will be your "motivation" to do your best?

Slowly, this space has become mine in a way. It's not everything that motivates, inspires and "pulls me along" -- I've had those reasons for a long time. BUT, it has become my "platform" for all the pushing. I am now 'pushed' to start my day. Hope you have a great holiday! Success and Carpe Diem, Sam.
