said enough following those three months, so I'll not repeat a discussion of those events.
Anyway, here is a summary of ACTION -- REACTION OR cause and solution...
PRODUCT: THEN
Revenue Check -- objective was to show what works online.
PRODUCT: NOW
Greatly Updated -- showing many processes that work and now building stats on what works online and what does not.
Furthermore, I've gotten about a dozen other products in the Members Area that help build traffic, emailing lists, sales referrals, etc., etc. What we've got now is 100 times better, faster and full of benefits.
Later all this migrated to a FIXED COST AD(TM) Model that delivers advertising and marketing tools, services and applications based on a flat fee.
MAJOR PROBLEM: HOSTING... THEN
Hosting failed for the first setup. The Plexum software failed as did the hosting of it several times. In fact, like clockwork the system went down on Saturday, 4 times. Plexum Software, later I found out, was full of bugs and help was not 'around the corner' when it was needed. Anyway, I am not going to dwell on things that did not work.
HOSTING: RESOLUTION... NOW
The representative setup now is on a dedicated server running software that is proven for 25 years. Furthermore, the software will handle millions of users, and with the advances in clusters, database servers and various other large information system management, the cost and capabilities of the system keep coming down.
ENTRY POINT: Then...
When I got things going I had a 4-page web site that was text. Just text. There was nothing there, other than a lot of text and an idea. You can see that idea via this link to http://www.revenuecheck.com >>.
ENTRY POINT: Now...
As the products, services, tools and applications evolved, I had to setup something that better explained the Membership -- our product. Our BENEFIT. I have done that here >>. In the next revision I'll add a nice business voice with a script that explains further. I hope that my testing proves further correct with this site converting around 50% of the people who signup to the form. That will mean when 100 people see it, 50 will go further and around 20 will signup. Out of that 2 people will upgrade. A conversion of 10% will keep everything growing nicely. From my various test this is the result that I can expect. I will now go the next step -making it happen.
Well, 444 days have gone just like that. I've said enough. Now it's a matter of doing it... Carpe Diem, Sam out.
