DAY # 597: Problem with Internet Marketing UPDATE: I've spent a good part of the past few weeks reading, exploring and researching various Internet Marketing (IM) venues. I suppose I have some time to do it since the 4-year-old stock market "rally" has come to a badly needed correction. Well, I am reading and looking around what people are doing with IM and it's rather interesting what they are doing. I think about 95% of the people out there are spending MORE on IM than they are earning from it. WHY? Just one reason -None of the products that I saw were adding VALUE to the users. There are several products that are badly needed for the Internet Marketing community. I suppose I've featured many of them here. However, what I see now in reports, niche sites, ebooks, etc, etc. are not really adding any discerning value to the masses. IF you look at all the public and many private companies that are growing by leaps all around, they are doing so with outstanding products. In most of the posts, sites, forums, etc. that I managed to look at over the past weeks --all they are doing is taking the same old stuff and "recycling it" --just about squeezing the last bit of life out. All the IM stuff for sale from what I saw was all about tips and tricks that are short lived. They just ZAP a credit card in milliseconds and then one is left with something that once deployed, starts to fail just as quickly as it died in the marketing engine. So, this is what the world is up to! The idea of real work, real value and real growth are forsaken for the quick buck, the instant reward. Very much like the lottery. Of course, we're more apt to get hit by lightning or a shark bite I suppose. So, in all the 'traveling' I did online in these weeks I failed to see an application, a sincere value product or just a good idea. When the journey came back to what I've worked on, I felt good.
