DAY # Time to Relax...
a FRESHWATER AQUARIUM
@ P31.COM

CANCELLED! Why? One of my major character flaws is to take on too much work than I can handle. As a result vital projects get delayed and on-going work gets marginalized. For about a year I have worked on businesscreditbuilding.com and while that is not 100% the way I'd like it, I took on this idea as a demo.
IT was NOT a good one. I shut it down after a few days to focus on the core elements. I think enabling more resources at businesscreditbuilding.com is a much better way to proceed than spending all that time on an aquarium. Sure the aquarium will get built, but not at the expense of my focus objectives.
Hopefully, this is a major error averted.. I'll leave this page here as a reminder not to do this again.
I proposed this project for the following reasons:
My goal is to show my readers (IRs & Members) a project that I worked on --one in which I intensively researched, planned, questioned, reasoned and finally built an aquarium for my home.
These are my intentions as I begin the work:
1. To show a PROCESS of PLANNING and EXECUTION that leads to success using a fish tank construction project.
2. To show how to setup a INFORMATION CENTER and MINI-DIRECTORY for the BiiG.COM DIRECTORY that IR's will manage.
3. To have some fun, engage my kids and do something away from the computer --something that's "very different" from the digital world.
LET'S BEGIN!
ELEMENTS of WHAT I AM BUILDING:
A fresh water fish tank. Site online, object --next to living room.
PURPOSE of WHAT I am BUILDING: (ONLINE)
To have a place with the BEST short list of online links to aquarium information is presented as a directory. The MAMBO CMS (content management system) will be used.
I'll keep it simple, and clear.
WHAT will the SITE DO?
Help people find information they are seeking about freshwater aquariums, based on ONE SET of KEY WORDS.
How will people find it? Via BiiG.COM
Expenses: Domain --.com/.net about $15.00. Annual hosting*: Part of Membership. Other costs? CMS is FREE. However, if a web publishing program is used, it may add as much as $200.00. I'll use CMS. Again, to set an example of keeping costs down.
FIRST STEP: Approval from Wife. Done! Several complaints about size need to be overcome --time, a movie & dinner (several) will take care of that. {B>)
NEXT STEP: RESERVE your KEY WORD at BiiG.COM (when this link is working, you'll know the system is ready to go!) Est. End of Dec.
