STEP 05: My Progress... Updated: Monday, 11-Apr-2005 12:45 PM --------- Below commentary was moved from the original PAGE ONE: As part of the 31-STEP plan I have setup some rules. I'll keep updating them. I hope to stick closely to them, but I'll amend and edit then as logic necessitates.You'll find my on-going set of rules in this area... To the rules area I have now added a CONTEST AREA and my 'To Do' list. ---------- TOPIC: A discussion about philosophy! My progress came to an abrupt halt right around the Thanksgiving holiday with a knee injury. Then came the news that I would not be able to collect on the funds from a sale of an asset. After that came the holiday routine and kids home from school. None of the funds from the asset sale were counted towards completing the steps. Consequently, I am still at STEP 10 with no progress forward, except for the planning on paper. All this leads me to the topic at hand: philosophy. In this case the lesson is "don't count your eggs 'til they hatch" is what I remember while growing up. Never count funds until they are actually received. My sale was to a business partner that I knew well, but when I called about the funds coming due, there were several more 'conditions' that had to be satisfied before the sale was final. At this point I have pretty much ruled out that I will ever collect the $3995.00, but I will keep that in the back of my mind to bring up later. So, back to STEP 10. How to progress? I made a new plan and decided to put REVIEWS of PRODUCTS/SERVICES that I am using to build all of the Internet businesses that I work on. I have now added a section called Product Reviews. These products will help build affiliate commissions which I plan to maximize to build STEPS 11 to about 20. From there it will depend on investing in the stock market. There are millions of products and services that I can use to build commissions, but I am mostly sticking to products and services that I use and am comfortable telling visitors about.
