BUILDING STEP #15 UPDATE: Half way there! When this idea got started about 18 months ago, from the time I write this, I had no idea how the STEPS were going to get built. I had no idea how any of this was going to get done. There was no master plan. Just an idea, that I was going to execute, by starting my thought on a web site. Shortly after getting started I kept adding extra items to the site from my own goals. For a long time I have had a dream home in mind. Instead of thinking about it and collecting scraps from magazines, I opted to add a part to the site called "DREAM HOME". I also added reviews and a research area. All this took time in addition to my full time work. Ouch. It was too much to take on, but I have kept going. When I read about something regarding energy savings for the home, or a radical way to build a house, I check it out and if compatible with my dream home, I add it to the links. I have been going to the research, reviews and dream home links on a consistent basis and the pages keep growing. The site keeps growing --around 600 pages at the last count. My goal is to just keep at it, at a steady pace through this summer when I hope to have around four hundred to five hundred visitors drop by on a daily basis. |

At this time the most frequent visitor is the googlebot, that visits about a 100 times a month to the various parts of the site. I think as the inbound links from all over the Internet keep growing to the site, I will see a lot more traffic sent this way. I hope that by the summer, when I reach 2 years of blogging on the site, I *will* be at STEP 24! All my work is to get to that STEP at this time. Of course, my success is shared with a network of Affiliates that are benefiting from all of my efforts. It's a great place and time to be here. Carpe Diem, Sam.
