DAY #10: Keep Going
Oct 19th, 2004 by Sam
Another week starts. It’s Tuesday. Not Monday as I mentioned in the previous week. My Mondays tend to be very busy with postal mail, email from the weekend, etc. taking up a lot of time. I suppose my blogging will be limited to about 4 days a week. However, I’ll do my best not to blog on weekends. I try to stay away from the pc as much as I can. I think we all know how that goes. Not well. But I try.
I spent a good part of the weekend thinking about how I am going to accomplish some revenue generation from the site. Then I once again reversed my ealier decision and thought it’s best to scrap any sales from here and leave that for my other two projects that actually have a very good product to sell.
Well, I don’t want to sound like this project is less important or that what you see here is not worthy of a price tag on it. However, my point is that I want to share my thoughts, goals and desires –success too, and not ask someone to pay something for it.
It happened several times in my travels where I entered some place at no cost, only to find out later that I am being asked for a “donation” or some fee near the exit. I don’t like that.
So, I would like to welcome all visitors here but not charge for anything on the site.
I hope I can keep that thought and live up to it. I hope…
Ok, now I have completed many of the tasks that I had in the “TO DO LIST” and just a few others are left.
I have also spent a lot of time reading about promotions online. The good news is that search engines pay a lot of attention to blogs and text from blogs register high in searches.
That’s the good part. The problem is that if I get lost in the sea of blogs out there, like many web sites have done over the years.
I’ll just wait and see.
On the funds front, I am still at STEP 10 with 5 ATTEMPTS.
I have a collectable for a product that I sold and I will be getting $3995.00 before Thanksgiving day. However, because this is not “money in hand” I have not counted it.
And speaking of money — I have deposited the small amount of cash in a new bank account. Out of sight, out of mind. I don’t want to use it for pizza or something, as it lays here on my desk.
Back to the funds. Getting the $3995.00 collected will take me to STEP 17, but why wait.
So, I have been working on completing my newest project (which I will share with everyone next week) involving stock market information.
For those of you who are new to the idea of compounding, there is no better way to build a networth or a 31-STEP Financial Success Plan™ other than by relying on stocks.
However, I’d like to get to about STEP 19 or 20 without the aide of stocks.
From there the plan is to use stocks -long and short, put and calls (options) to build the steps. How long will it take? I don’t know. I have managed returns of over 100% in the past and hope to continue that well into several more years. So, it may take as many as 5 to 6 years to get all 31-STEPS done. But don’t fret… I also have some ideas that will considerably shorten that span.
I’ll share all these thoughts as my blog and this sites get updated on a regular basis.
That’s it for now… More details as the week continues. Out for now. Sam.
